CALL FOR ART FOR LA DECOM....OCTOBER 13

Dale writes: "Yes, it's that time again - the Man has burned (twice!)
and we are ready to decompress LA -style in a wonderful new location
-Santa Fe between 4th and 6th - on October 13th from noon until 11 pm.
This year we have more room, more stages, more fabulous entertainment ,
and need more art of ALL kinds - 2-D, sculpture, big installations,
interactive art, and more art cars ! We will be setting up a gallery
-style show under a large tent (a Burner Art Pavilion!) for paintings ,
photographs, smaller sculpture, fashion, whatever you have created that
has been to the playa (or photos of what was there this year) - and will
have lots of space for BIG installations and fire art as well.

Without you - there is no Decom, so please come, bring your wondrous
art,  volunteer if you'd like, and make this our best year yet!  Also
please pass the word to other burners - we need lots of participation
this year!!

PLEASE SUBMIT ART VIA EMAIL IN THE FORM OF PHOTO ATTACHMENTS OR JPEGS.
All submissions will be answered and placed  if  submitted before Oct.
6th . Once we have recieved your submission I will be sending you a form
to fill out with important info regarding your space requirements,
electrical needs, set up schedule, ticket requests, etc.

Gary Oldman plays as a dwarf brother to a normal-sized Matthew
McConaughey. When McConaughey's girlfriend (played by Kate
Beckinsale) becomes pregnant, the pair are fearful that the baby
will inherit the Oldman gene. Matters are complicated still further
when Beckinsale finds herself falling in love with Oldman's
character. Bridget plays Oldman's girlfriend.

The movie is about little people but is most definitely not
patronizing. it shows a variety of life situations and problems they
face, from social to medical to how to get laid.
