I have watched this show previously a few times but never had the time
to get into it because of the many times I would miss episodes. now
that I have been able to record it, I was actually interested in
joining the show. How do you become a contestant? Does anyone know? I
have tried to look up links but it doesn't take me where I think I need
to be. Anyway, if anyone knows how to sign up, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks guys!
O my god I could not believe this lady i missed the ending of the
episode but the first half made me think o my god i cannot believe
there are people out there that are so racial i could not believe how
she felt about mexicans ,and how can you be one minded if a person
chooses the same sex for a relationship these women were together for
20 yrs she taught she was great with her little motorcycle son..
I saw a preview with Margarite Perrin the "Christian" psycho lady,
where she was going to be on again?? Did I miss it? When is it going
to be on? I admit to a weird fascination with this lady. Is it all an
act? Does she really believe what she says?
Thanks,
Dizzy
Hi Judy,
I didn't see this show. (I've got to get tivo!) What happened? People
thought child abuse was occuring? It sounds like they really put ya'll through a
lot even before you get on the show.

I hope you have a big closet 'cause I'm hiding with you. I was just
getting used to being me again. Maybe a BIG sign saying, "It's my
evil twin?"
Anyway, *hugs* to the sleepy Mom from the gaming obsessed Mom. It's
too bad the show distorts so much because I really had fun doing it
but hey...real doesn't get viewers.
I missed Wife Swap's pirates. Doug saw it and said it was way out
there. I wonder if Trading Spouses will continue the lean away
from "Sweet story with a moral" and head more towards the drama for
ratings. They seem to have been giving up on reality in favor of
ratings in the last season. I guess Oct. 6th we will find out.

Has anybody seen a preview for the Oct. 6, premeire? Trading Spouses is
going to have to work hard to keep up with their rival show, Wife Swap.
The pirate family that they had on last night was one of the strangest
that I've seen.

I'm here. Thanks for the update. I just watched the Margerite Perrin
Jay Leno appearance. I was more facinated with Roseanne's appearance
than Margerite. I didn't recognize Roseanne with long, blonde hair.

Yeah, the show was on in a repeat--that's why she's been 'revived.'

LOL I dont' think her poor family could take another public appearance by their whacked out bible thumpin' (when it's in her interest) mother. She's probably tucked away in a nice psychiatric hospital losing weight.

Just wondered, everyone is still talking about her, thought she gone & done
something else to get her " 'nother" 15 minutes of fame. Yes I know, it was
more than 15 minutes the first time...;)

God, I hope not!!!
Marguerite Perrin has her own web site, with a "store", photos of
herself with other celebrities and family. Also, is putting out a cute
little theme song on CD ...which starts with her SCREAMING "get outta
my house!". She was on Jay Leno November 29th 2005 , where they
presented her with own little bobble head doll.I missed it and I can't
find a clip of the show anywhere (tonight show). Does anyone have it
or did anyone see it? BTW, apparently surgery did not take or
something.

Jeanne was I think trying to do what the show is all about.... trading
places for a few days to experience another's life and share your own.
I think Jeanne's husband was very gracious and tried his best to make her
feel comfortable. I hope she is proud of him. My hubby would have thrown
her out of the house!
Margaret on the other hand was totally out of line! And if she is Catholic
then she is not how I was raised in Louisiana!!! She was a true drama queen
gone overboard. Whatever "warrior" she is I am sure is the reason people
turn away. There is absolutely no excuse for her behavior! What in the
world did she expect... it is TV after all. Did she not watch the show and
see the extreme of how they pair people?
Margaret - get a grip!!

What an embarressment to christians everywhere. My goodness astrology
is about the stars and who does she think created them. People like
that are like as cult on their own. Pushing your beliefs on others
is, in my opinion, not christian. Christiaqnity is about accepting
others for their choices and their beliefs. I sure felt sorry for
Ashley having two mom's, it's tough enough having one. Her belief in
GOD and Jesus should have made her not so afraid of the forces of this
world. There I feel much better.
Marguerite Perrin was truly in need of mental help in a hurry. I hope
her husband will have the strength to insist on it, for the sake of
his children, but he didn't seem very strong to me. I also think that
her friends are in need of the same mental help. What a bunch of
narrow minded religious dodos. God help America with people like this!
Be well!

She truly was insane and I think her husband needs to get her some
mental help, and start protecting his children from her
narrow minded religious ways. The world has so much to offer them, but
they won't have a chance with a mother like her. The youngest daughter
was a great little dancer, and I hope they let her pursue this. How
very, very sad for that family to have a mother like her.
Marguerite Perrin made a total fool of herself and her religion on the
Trading Spouses show. Not only did she not help the cause for
religious beliefs, I am certain she drove more people away from it. I
don't know where she learned all this anger, but her judgmental, self-
righteous attitude is disgusting, and a little sad. People like her
are a direct cause for the amount of hatred and war in the world today
and the lack of progress in the maturity of mankind. She is also very
likely to screw up her kids big time. They may very easily mature into
adulthood being ashamed of her and end up being determined to be just
the opposite. Any notoriety she is getting is people pointing to her
as an example of how not to be. Because of her age and the extreme of
her personality, there may be little hope for her, but she is indeed a
sick person who needs psychological help.

it is nice to see her daughters can still enjoy life even after being
stifled and filtered through that hateful walking lard.
that's it,
I've never seen a show like that before.
ever.

She made me sick, I turn my TV on mute when she was on the way home.
She didn't give in on anything it was the saddest show I ever
watched.
