Thanks to all of you for joining my Threshold group! You are all invited to
join my new group for the ABC show V which just started this week:

Even though CBS haven't announced the official termination of the show,
word is out that our beloved TV show is cancelled. I think we should
create a petition to bring back Threshold!!
Yes, Escalation is coming on this Wednesday. I know they are going to
air Vigilante, I'm not too sure if they will air Alienville though.
At the least they are getting three more episodes then we did...
Lucky Brits!
Sorry to bother you again, but is Threshold still playing in the U.K?

I live in TN, I just gather information where I can. I provided some links in the link section to where you can get more information about the episodes. I mainly get my info from the skyone site themselves, and a British dude I talk to on the Braga forums. (I provided that link as well.) I don't know if they are having them online or not, I would think that maybe they would sell them to google video. But probably not, CBS doesn't make sense. In my opinion that would be a good finacial move, people who love the show would surely download those episodes...
Again, Thank you sooo much. It was great to read about the next episode. You are right about CBS, you have to wonder if Braga didn't piss someone off, down at the network. Please keep me informed if you hear anything else. Too bad scifi channel didn't pick Threshold up, like they did Nightstalker. Best wishes. valerie- "akirabane" <akirabane@...> wrote:

Hi, just wondering where you live. I live near SanFrancisco, California. Threshold was canceled back in November, and I have not even seen the episode talked about on skyone. Are they going to actually show the programs on the Internet? If so, when and where will they be airing them? Gee, if they are still showing Threshold where you live, you could make a fortune selling copies to people where I live. I noticed CBS still has the Threshold web site up. I keep sending them feedback asking them to bring it back. Thanks again, Valerie

Episode Escalation is appearing on that channel this week... Then there will be Vigilante sometime soon, I'm not sure about Alienville though.
I'm sure that they'll get up to Vigilante. All details will be in that guide, in the link once the episode shows.

Skyone is airing some of the episodes that were produced, but remain
unaired in the US.
The good news is that Skyone has a killer episode guide, here's the
link.

That particular one is for The Crossing.
when I try to sign it, the web page comes up unsupported, and will go no
further. Try signing it, Thanks

CBS has canceled threshold due to low ratings. {go to CBS.com} Please
spread the word, and get people to write to CBS about giving this show
another chance. There were hardley any advertisements for the show, and
several people I have talked to never heard of it. Tell everyone you
know to write Cbs, or the show is history!

Agreed. Of those three, I like Threshold the best.
The story you are thinking of may be called "The Man in the High
Castle." I seem to recall it is set in an alternate timeline where
Japan and Germany won WW2 and are both in the US, the house (high
castle) is on the new border line....

Rec'd this at another Yahoo group I belong to:
--------------------
Hello!
As fellow fans of Brannon Braga and "Threshold" I thought you might be
interested in helping save the show from premature cancellation!
"Threshold" struggled in the ratings in it's original Friday/9pm
timeslot;
it premieres in it's new Tuesday/10pm timeslot starting in ONE WEEK,
on
Tuesday, November 22. CBS will be closely monitoring both the
ratings and
the fan response, so we need to act fast and get the word out!
There's a new "Threshold" fansite - http://www.thresholdfans.com/ -
that
is spearheading a letter & e-mail writing campaign to encourage CBS to
grant the show a full-season order. The site includes suggested
guidelines for writing letters of support, a link to the CBS online
feedback form, and even a draft letter that people can personalize
and use
if they're not sure what to write. All we need now is to get people
to
act!
Please help by forwarding this information to as many people as you
can,
and maybe we can get the show the full 22 episode order it deserves!
Thank you!!!
Copying this directly from another Threshold board I belong to...
---------------------
Hello everyone,
We would like to collect holiday (in the case Christmas) greetings
for
Brannon Braga who is one of the executive producers on Threshold.
These
greetings will be given to him shortly before Christmas.
If you would like to contribute a greetings, please email it to
webmaster@... with Holiday Greeting in the subject line.
There isn't any word yet on Threshold being picked up for a full
season
or not. At least we don't know of anything yet! We are keeping our
fingers crossed hoping that it gets a full season order!
Thank you
I've read a lot of the authors you mention but don't see the
connection -- can you elaborate? I thought the show was the best of
the sci-fi shows that have premiered so far. I liked Surface and
Invasion and Supernatural but thought Threshold had the best writing,
cast, and clever story line.
Glad to meet someone who's familiar with classic sci-fi lit!

Any one ever read the Asimov??, or Clarke?? or maybe Heinlein?? short
story about the architect who created a house in the 4th dimension?
Something to do with tesseracts?? & time shifting. Great short story
but I never would have thought it could be tied into a a TV series.
Good plot pace for this show. Just enough info to keep you hooked.
The suspense of will-they-or-won't-they mutate is a good start for the
main story arc. That final fly-by of the traffic pattern in DC was
a killer.
