ooc: nothing was much said about faith other than she was in her
second year of HS and that she was the mayors daughter. Also, that
she ran errands and some questionable jobs for him. I kinda read the
first post there and reworked it from what I thought faith should be
like. She's 18, and my post explains why she's behind in her
schooling. Please let me know.
IC:
Faith had frollicked off to school once the conversation with her
father this morning had ended. She sat outside on the pavillion, a
fag in her hand as she took a long drag from it. Of course, she was
early.. and the reputation of being a good little Mayor's daughter
was quickly fading to be fun. She was 18 and she was a sophmore in
highschool. Oh, the joy at that. She wasnt carefree like a lot of the
kids in this place.. but then again she saw and did things a lot
differently then any of them. Her mother died young.. and yes,
everyone had their own little tragedies.. but Faith had taken things
very differnt from much of the other kids her age. She had been given
the world.. beauties.. jewels.. cars... the works.. her own place to
live in, and why wouldnt any girl want all of those things? However,
about two years ago she had taken her own fall into identity
crisis... wondering if she was like her mother.. who she resembled
the most... if her father loved her more than just to give her pretty
things.. so Faith had taken off and left the comforts of her home and
life to experience things she didnt quite understand.
So many things had happend within those two years of living on the
streets and bouncing back and forth between what friends she had..
staying on their couches... but after all of that she came back home.
Given, she had missed two years of school so she had a lot of
catching up to do.. and she had missed her father dearly. But, for
the most part - they tried not to think about it.. or talk about it
at all. So, Faith had started the summer of her return working with
her father.. running errands.. and such, and now, she was back in
school. She wondered if she'd see any familiar faces..or any of the
old friend she once had. Given they'd be seniors and she was a lonely
sophmore... but, she would be able to deal and catch up in no time.
She took another long drag from her cig and then tossed it on the
floor, crushing it with her boot as she ran a hand through her hair.
Oh, the fun - school was starting. She wondered if what her father
had said about her riding out the school year was true.. of if she
could get him to pull strings here and there for her if she didnt
like her teachers. Either way, she wasnt sure how she'd like being
back here.... unless she found some solace in the people.. or
something else that would ease the tension in her body.
