Location - P3X-972 (Known to locals as Halmara)

Daniel looked around. Halmara was quiet. In fact, it was too quiet.
Jack and Sam were at the village, while Daniel and Teal'c had gone
off to search the area. "I don't like this" Daniel said
"What don't you like, Daniel Jackson?" Teal'c asked
"This whole thing. It's too quiet" Daniel said
"Daniel Jackson, I do not believe anywhere could be 'too quiet'"
Teal'c said
"Never mind" Daniel said, rolling his eyes. He faced Teal'c "Aren't
you getting a bad feeling about this planet?" Daniel asked
"No" Teal'c replied. Daniel let out a sigh
"I give up" he said
"What do you give up?" Teal'c asked. Daniel turned to say something,
but saw a smile on Teal'c face
"That was a joke?" Daniel asked "Ok, not a very good joke, but still
a joke". Teal'c went to say something, but was stopped as a weapon's
blast shot past him. Daniel and Teal'c ducked, with Daniel taking
out a Zat, and Teal'c gripping his staff. Daniel looked at where the
blast had come from, and saw several Jaffa firing at them "So much
for too quiet" Daniel muttered. He grabbed his radio "Jack, Sam,
come in" Daniel said
"What is it Daniel?" Jack asked
"We're under attack by Jaffa" Daniel replied
"Get back here now, we're getting back to the gate" Jack ordered
"Easier said than done" Daniel remarked. He and Teal'c fired at the
Jaffa, and ran towards the Village, stopping every few seconds to
fire at their attackers.

Jack and Sam saw the blasts coming from the woods, and got into
position to cover them. As Daniel and Teal'c emerged from the woods,
Jack saw two Jaffa follow them, so he and Sam opened fire. The two
Jaffa fell to the ground, just as more emerged from the woods. As
Daniel and Teal'c ran past them, they got into position and fired at
the Jaffa "DANIEL, DIAL THE GATE!" Jack ordered. Daniel ran towards
the DHD, and started dialling the address to get them back home.

As the gate opened, Teal'c stepped out and fired at the Jaffa still
emerging, whilst Daniel inputted the code on his IDC. "I will cover
you O'Neill. Get going" Teal'c said. Sam and Daniel leapt through
the open wormhole, while Jack and Teal'c kept firing
"Let's go" Jack said. He and Teal'c ran at the wormhole, and leapt
through it.

As Jack and Teal'c landed on the walkway, General Hammond's voice
was heard "Close the Iris" he ordered. As the Iris closed, a thud
could be heard, right before the wormhole closed. Daniel sighed.
"That was close" Daniel said
"Indeed" Teal'c agreed
"We can guess what happened to the population" Daniel said
"I'll order P3X-972 scrubbed from the dialling computer" Hammond
said "I'll see you in debriefing in an hour" he added. As Hammond
left, Daniel turned to Jack
"You know, Teal'c actually made a joke on the planet" Daniel said
"Really? I thought you couldn't make jokes" Jack said
"I know plenty of jokes" Teal'c said "Three Jaffa guards standing in
a square room, facing one another....."
