I also was able to speak to him live, he looked great, seemed ok, not sick anymore I guess.Lately he has been looking well put togther, keep it up, Rocco.
Yeh, I bought it on QVC on Sun, also I had asked him for the big pot for pasta which I also bought last week, they are beautiful and functional, esp for somone who cant cook, but I have kept his set looking great Ive had it for almost a year. cynthia
Was that you Rocco was talking about concerning the new pan? What pan were you looking for? He finally presented the "Everyday Pan" which is what I was looking for.

IMO the woman who wrotte Rocco to tell him the recipe wasnt impressive
enough and asked him what school did he graduate from, was a moron.
If she wants a hard recipe that she cant possibly do there is always the
Food Network.
I liked the idea of the cabbage in a bag.A friend of mine uses it for cole
slaw.She raves about it.
Im going to try the easy cabbage soup, because Im not a very good cook and
the easier the better for me

Thanks for the info. He will also be on Tony Danza Friday the 4th.

rocco and david have forgotten all about us.They are sitting there chatting
as if they are HAVING A GLASS OF WINE on the couch at a party.
Theyre not going to take questions today?

About time everybody is finding out about soy milk...I have been using it
for years and love it.
Some soy milks are better than others.Silk is the best.
Mama sounded good today on the radio..sounds like shes getting back to
normal.
Hope when Rocco gets back to NY,she will start coming back to the show.
I also wish that Rocco would let her have a day in which she does all the
answering of the questions..he just translates a little.

He said he would be on today, but maybe he realized he couldn't do
the show and prepare for the private dinner he has to cook tonight?
Since he's kicking the whole Sundance - Chefdance thing off he has to
be on his 'A' game. I'm taping Entertainment and Extra to see if he's
one them today, tomorrow. Maybe I'll also tape next week too.
Did you hear the beginning of the show? Guess he forgot where he was
and what he was doing. I sure he'll be called on the carpet by he's
bosses and Mama? Between the vagina jokes and sex talk....he better
watch that mouth.
I was eating lunch while Rocco was talking about baked ziti..and that
sounded better than whet i was eating(chinese food).
I always eat lunch while I listen, because he makes me hungry.
Finally he has told us what hes going to be doing in Sundance..cooking..
I have to make a mental note to watch the Entertaimnebt tonights and Extra's
to see him...I usually dont watch those shows

I just ran across an interview Rocco did on Jan. 6, with Murray from
a Chicago radio station. You might be able to check it out by going
to www.murrayinthemorning.com go to MitM Menu in the left hand column
then click on "The MITH Archives",when that page appears scan down to
Jan. 6th 2005. You see a picture of rocco and Mama. You can then
click to listen to the interview. You might find it a bit
interesting. Now I know a little more about Teesha.
yeah, I thought he mention the appearances he might be making, but he was just very nonspecific, probably the sister station of wor asked him to come out.like how he said he is always good, yeah right, how about the post then rocco, he is totally a big flirt...now ill try the roast roccos way, hope the kids like it they usually do, as long as i say he gave me the receipe, my daughter is eight he spoke with her once and she totally thinks he is the best, you should hear her tell her friends she spoke with him, and of course most dont know who he is....

I liked the questions Cyn. I wonder if he is really behaving....So far I haven't seen any pictures of him at the Globes. He mentioned the Tonight Show yesterday, I wonder if he is going to try to set up an appearance there or on Jimmy Himmel or the The Late Show?

Oxtails is not hard to cook it just can be very greasy. I avoided
them for a long time but just started cooking them last year. I
usually ge them from the chinese meat market of i go to a butcher and
have them cut more on the thin side, brown with a little flour, then
get rid of all that grease before i cook them futher.

I don't think so. I think with all that attention he'll start showing
his jerk tendencies. We've all seen them before on t.v., heard it on
the radio and I caught a glimpse of it up close. He can't help
himself. They'll catch him talking about something other then the
girls personality.

From what I heard today he's going to the Golden Globes this weekend
and will be broadcasting his show from Cal. next week and then from
Sundance, Utah the following week. You can still call in and ask
questions though. hmmmm...I wonder who if anyone he's taking to the
Golden Globes?...
Squid is calamari and yes you can fry it. I love fried calamari with
a nice marinara or some kind of red sauce on the side. In fact I had
fried calamari at Rocco's, but I nor any of my friends liked it very
much. It was too heavy...too oily. I had a great one at City Island
last weekend. You can also stuff it and then fry it. Maybe Rocco has
a few good recipes. You can let us know if he does. Hopefully they
won't come out like the ones at Rocco 22nd St....
I know how you feel about calling, especially speaking on the air. I
also feel that when you call on the air he's more rushed for time as
he has to take care of the various sponsors so he'll rush you a
question or cut you off to break for commercials.
I forgot to ask him how often and if there were any particular days
inwhich he took calls off the air. I have a list of questions to ask.

Wednesday Rocco said he would still answer calls after the shown was
off the air and true to his word he did. I just had to wait for 2
callers that were ahead of me. I asked him several different
questions. The first one he couldn't quite answer, but he tried. He
even helped me go thru the food emporium site to find his recipes. I
don't know if he does this all the time, but this was sure one way to
finally get some of my questions answered. The girl that was
screening the calls wasn't so pleasant, but she probably had a lot of
calls to go through. If this is the Good Rocco ...then keep it
coming.

Well, I missed that one....what did he look like, what did he make besides miso whatever????...He needs to get a new recipe he's made miso chicken, miso salmon, miso halibut, miso , miso, miso ..... What was he wearing? Please don't tell me jeans with that chain and eagle buckle...
He needs to update his site regarding his appearances. They haven't added anything since Barnes and Noble back on Dec. 1st.

I wouldn't mind if one of his assistants anwered the questions, just
as long a someone did, plus he swore to me twice that he answered all
his questions. I know what it's like to get lots of emails, sometimes
you are just so tired of answering them, but the last email I sent
and he did answer he asked me a question. I sent him the answer which
he would then have had to reply back to. He never replied so I don't
know if he ever got it. Also as I said he has so many different email
addresses who knows what he's reading. I would also think that money
is a little tight so he would have that many assistants. Cara who was
his assistant, right hand whatever had a baby and I know she called
into this show from home to ask him a question so I don't know if she
is helping him out at all. I know she at least has cooking knowledge.
Ian Bell was and I guess still is his PR guy...cooking knowledge no,
ballet knowledge yes....who else is there to help?? I don't know.
His ex girlfriend....she used him, he used her. She wanted to get
more known in the American film market and he like having her on his
arm plus it brought him closer to the bright lights of Hollywood.
She's now gone back to Italy. Plus some of the behavior he displayed
on and off screen would have most definitely required him to receive
a couple of wacks.
I still want to know more about the ex wife. What happened there????
Gaydar....sometimes that works, but there are also switch-hitters.

Jealous!!!! of that jerk...please, there is nothing to be jealous about with him...
Not only is he gay (or at least bi, not that there is anything wrong with it and I really don't dislike him because of his sexual preference, or really care for that matter.... thats his biz)
but he is an arrogant, selfish, selfcentered, egotistical, narrcisistic, rude, mean jerk and I DO have the displeasure of meeting him and knowing him during the restaurant time...believe me, the way he was depicted on the show was exactly how he was in real life...horrible to work for, had no clue how to manage or deal with people, really didn't care about any of his staff, his only concern was getting his mug in front of the camera and making a total fool of himself, which he seemed to do very well... I have no idea why any of you would like or care about him...it says alot about all of you...
Maybe he is a great chef (not even sure about that) so he should stay in the kitchen where he belongs...
Talk to any of his employees during the restaurant time (and I know them all from the first season) and they will tell you the same thing...
Jeffrey Chodrow may have his own skeletons in the closet but business is business and Rocco deserved to be thrown out and sued. his downfall is his own fault and he has nobody to blame but himself..
I think rocco was tired yesterday because he probably had gotten some the
night befiore and didnt get much sleep.
You know the saying, that men will give up sleep for sex.Wouldnt surprise me
if that was the case with him
