"Buffy: The Album," "Radio: Sunnydale" and "Once More With Feeling",
all three soundtracks have been an overwhelming success, so it's no
surprise that Twentieth Century Fox are going to continue the trend
with a proposed "Angel" soundtrack.
Speaking to the City of Angel Web site, "Angel" composer Robert Kral
announced a provisional track listing for the album, based on the
cancelled vampire series.
The track listing to date includes the opening theme song (performed
by Darling Violetta), "Hero for Doyle," "The L.A. Song" (sung
by "Angel" star Christian Kane and written by co-creator David
Greenwalt) as well as a few covers which were performed by the shows
very own kareoke loving demon, Lorne (Andy Hallett).
"There is a lot of material I wanted to include that we just can't
squeeze into one CD," Kral announced.
"Fox doesn't wish to do a double album! 'Lady Marmalade' (sung by
Andy Hallett) may be replaced with 'Superstition' which is actually
a
better track, with better performances," he added.
It is possible that future changes may occur to this listing as the
project develops.
