Some one posted on the Abc chatroom that they saw Shannon
and Alex in a shopping mall in Dallas and that shannon was
wearing the 2karat ring.  I am from Dallas and the shopping mall
they were at is near my house.  I don't personally know Shannon,
but I have some friends who  know her and I have been hearing
the rumors that  Alex has been seen with her numerous times.
She is the perfect girl to bring home to you mom and Dad.  I
know that I would feel confident having her as my wife.  She is
sweet, down to earth, and has respect for herself.

I hope she is the winner.  She is the best choice.

I don't find it "romantic" either, but entertaining?  Yes!  :)

Since I doubt it will have such a satisfactory ending, what is the
attraction of it? Women as commodities for some fool who likes to
play "rooster in the henhouse?" ROTFL! ABC really struck out with

Someone on ABC's Message Board (alleging to be a good friend) said that ABC
begged LaNease to be on the show.  I think the "beg" is an exaggeration. 
Someone else on that Message Board said they heard LaNease and Angelique on a CA
talk show last week.  LaNease supposedly said that she had a male friend who
worked with ABC's Production of The Bachelor who asked her to apply, and ABC
encouraged her to participate.  She was hesitant because she had been told
before, "Oh... we know a guy great for you!"  only to be disappointed. 
Supposedly, she was in line to do a Pepsi commercial at the same time as when
this hoopla took place weeks ago.  ABC alleged that they could not pay her for
reality TV... as it was against the law.

Supposedly, LaNease said she had no regrets doing the show... until the bills
came in! lol

I don't think she'll be cut until another week.  Alex may have never dated a
black woman before... so this is his chance to sample before settling down with
someone else.  LaNease has done some bikini modeling, too... so Alex may want to
keep her around just to say, "Oh... I've dated a bikini model and actress." 
And, flip side is... LaNease may have a friendly agreement with Alex to be like
an inside spy and give him the scoop on what's going on inside the house! :)

LaNease was in like a 15 month serious relationship with a guy that she had
hoped would marry her.  They broke up... he was commitment phobic... but
supposedly are now best friends.

I've been glad to hear that there are so many guys out there (black and white)
who say they would want LaNease, as it's given me more hope! :)  I'm a single,
black, attractive, well-educated female in her 30s.  I was starting to think
that the pool of men who would find me appealing had shrunk! lol

Shannon is a shy mouse unwilling to fight for her man.  Trista will
fight, but like most prissy cheerleaders will get her butt whipped.

Rhonda looks like she has a major agenda, or is just looking out for her own interests. Plus like many others on this board, I think she's lying about her age.

I think she just wants to get married before her daddy dies. Hate to be cruel, but it's' true, it's damn true.

Next Monday Alex will have to choose only 4 ladies to remain,
who do you think they will be?
My guess is:
1. Christina
2. Rhonda
3. Trista
4. Shannon
I agree that both Rhonda and Shannon are terrific wife prospects
for The Bachelor, but Christina may come on strong.  She seems
great for him, but we really haven't seen enough of her on air
to really tell.

personally, I think he is smitten with SHANNON.

Rhonda looks like she drinks to much, plus I get the feeling she has
agenda. You have to look at this from a guys perspective. This guy is
31 he's decided to get married. If this is supposed to be taken
seriously look at the options. I give the top three choices right now.

Shannon- Very girl next door attractive. Great attitude, plus she has
a decent job that isn't all about what she's not getting (aka: the
actresses). The look great as a couple and he's into her bigtime.

Amanda- This girl has a great girl next door look as well. An ok job.
However event planner has "I'll quite when I get married all over
it". Of course she also has great cans. What guy wouldn't want to
wake up with those every morning? On the bad side she has DFP.
Definite Fat Potential. She looks like she could gain weight if she
doesn't hit the gym on a regular basis. I think he digs her as well,
but maybe he's just mezmorized by the boobies?

Trista- Ummm she's a cheerleader. I don't know what future employment
opportunities you get from that. She seems very nice for someone that
hot. Everyone is intrigued that she likes kids. I don't know to many
girls that don't, but that's just me. Great body and would look great
at those corporate Xmas parties. Seems like she would be a great
person to get to know more, however the chance of her straying when a
richer more attractive guy ever comes into play is great.

In my opinion I say stick with the girl next door types. They are
always a little more insecure and truly appreciate when you
compliment them. I think for marriage purposes Shannon will get it.
Although I personally would go with Amanda (for the boobies)

Rhonda is the one to contend with in The Bachelor show. Expect Rhonda

Shannon, Trista and Amanda for sure going in.

Rhonda, there is something about her I don't like. She looks to old or something. I didn't want to see her in it.

I also think the producers should barr any actresses from the show. I just don't think it's right. Do you really want to marry an actress? It's never about the couple, it's always about her. No way man not for me.

I do say for date purposes Lenease is smoking. I live out here in LA, I need to try to find out where she hangs out.

Also how great would another season of the show be if the guy only made 20 grand. Pure Classic!

Next week Alex (The Bach) goes with his Final Four.
My feelings might change, but right now my prediction is:
1. Christina--we didn't see much of her on last night's episode,
but she seems to have it all:  looks, brains,friendly,fun,honest,
  etc, etc -- the All-American girl type.  As he gets closer and
closer to actually choosing a wife (and even thinking about who
he would want to be the mother of his children), her qualities
become even more important to him.
2. Rhonda--this lady has presence!!  She's more cute than
attractive.  Super personality (friendly, easy to talk with, etc)
Enthusiastic without being overbearing.  She is a terrific woman
and would be a great wife for The Bach.
3. Trista--If looks were the only criteria, she would win.
She also has a friendly/open personality which appeals to Alex.
However, Rhonda and Christina seem smarter and that is very
critical for Alex.
4. Shannon--She is very savvy. It is obvious that Alex has a
strong attraction to her.  I think she is strong in all the
major areas I listed for Christina, but Christina slightly
outshines her in most items.



And the 4 he won't select:
5. Amanda--He marvels at her body (i.e. especially the breasts),
and her friendly/open personality is appealing; but she doen't
stack up (excuse the pun) to the others in class and intellect,
both of which are paramount to Alex.
6. LaNease--She is very appealing in appearance and with her
kind personality.  Also, since she is the only black, she is very
courageous to be on the show.  However, Alex seems traditional
and, therefore, will not ultimately choose her.
7. Kimberly--She is the only lady that Alex chose for the top 8
that I did not think would be there.  However, now that she's
there, I think her job (nanny) and her obvious love for kids tells
us something about Alex's priorities.  She is attractive, but
otherwise doesn't match up well with the others.
8. Cathy--Her diving team experience in college is a shared
interest (Alex was swim-team captain in High School).  Also, she
is #1 in enthusiasm, but her relatively young(22) age is a slight
disadvantage.

What are YOUR predictions and comments?

I totally saw the connection between Trista and Alex.  As of now, I
think she may win!

Here's what I posted in another forum:

OK, it wasn't too hard to figure out the first round in most cases.
But now it's a little harder. Here are my picks for the next eight
roses:
1. Amanda. Not a long term prospect, but The Rack sticks around to
woo another day.
2. Trista. One of my picks to get pretty far.
3. Shannon. Future eps clip shows her in what looks like a one-on-one
date, also the "no longer feels special bit" looks like more than one
ep out.
4. Katie. Definitely another possibility to make the final ep.
5. Alexa. She seems like a lot of fun, which I think The B
appreciates.
6. Christina. Attractive, professional, and likes kids.
7. Cathy. Cute and bubbly gets her through to the next round.
8. Amy. I had to pick one out of her, Angelique and Kimberly.

I'll also predict that all eight accept. There may be some rejections
farther on when things get messier, but for now, additional time on
TV should motivate the women to put up with any discomfort for
another week.

Here are my eight picks no particular order:

1) Amanda- very attractive, great cans ( If she doesn't win I'll marry her)

2) LaNease- Hot black girl, I am sure that turns him on

3) Shannon- Cute seems very down to earth, (My odds on favorite to win)

4) Alexa- Hot, somewhat smart, this will be the last round she's on.

5) Rhonda- Very girl next door, could go all the way, a little to quite

6) Tina- seems interesting

7) Amy- more than meets the eye, I just don't like all these actresses involved

8) Trista- Very good looking and doesn't seem to have a bad attitude

Not the most scientific study ever done, but I am kind of baseing it on what I would like. However I don't think this guy wants a girl that more ambitious than he is. I think he wants a traditional woman in his life, but also has something going for her career wise.

If there is any one show that sums of the true nature of a woman's
agenda it's this show. However to create a situation that a guy gets
to make out with 15 hot girls isn't so bad. Amanda is the hottest
girl on the show and if she doesn't win, I'll marry her. This guy has
women pineing after him solely because he's got other women all over
him. The last seven minutes of the show were the best when they show
highlights of the next one.

This is going to be the best show since Survivor 1!

I hope this club catches on!
