I absolutely LOVED the Bachelor last night. What a great show, from beginning to end - all the drama and the hystrionics of Natalie leaving, that was just great. And I loved the whole segment with Stephanie and her daughter, that was just precious. And then with all the girls all upset at the end and Jason wanting to know what all the drama was about. It was truly a show for the books, meaning, one of the best I have seen in a long time.
After the whole show was over (and I saw the previews for next week, wherein Jason says he cannot give out the last rose) -I gasped and my husband was sitting next to me, he looked at me and said "I finally figured out what this show is, it is a Comic Book for Adults." I started laughting so hard and I whole heartedly agreed. What a great way to look at this show, a comic book for adults. How true, how true, it is very exciting, very over the top most of the time, very romantic and silly at times, but most of all so very very entertaining, pretty much like a comic book is to kids.
Anyway, just wanted to share that with everyone and get your comments on that. He did not mean any disrespect to the show, however, he does rather look down on the show a bit at times. But he does enjoy it at times and does stay right there with me while I watch it, usually knowing who each girl is and who said what, etc.. And I have to admit, this has always been my very favorite show, ever since its first episode so many years ago. I also have a male friend here at work, who is in his late 40's and he just loves The Bachelor, we always talk about it the next day after the show. Go Jason - I am so glad he let Natalie go home, very wise decision. Also glad he kept Megan and let Erica go. Now, what will he do next????? Can't wait to see......
