The TV Soap Opera “Passions” debuted July 5, 1999, on NBC and its last airdate on that network was September 7, 2007. DirecTV picked up the series starting September 17, 2007. In December 2007, DirecTV decided not to renew its contract and the final episode aired on DirecTV on August 7, 2008. Kind of ironically the shows creator/head writer James E.
