Save the replacement of a couple of songs that really had a major relevance to
the stories, i.e. "Eve," "Beautiful Morning" and "Rocket Man" I have to admit
most of the changes didn't bother me. The latter two bother me because there had
to be better indie songs: One of those even implies the green guys are saying to
Ralph and Bill they love them (that "You Saved the Day" bit).
The one thing I'll concede on "Eve" was they at least got a song that matched
the storyline ("End of the World"). That said, if they were going to change it,
they should've found a way to avoid having Ralph mention hearing "Eve of
Destruction" on the radio.
Come to think about it - this bugs me: On TV shows, you pay a royalty even
mentioning a brand name. It's one reason you see shows on mTV and VH1 plaster
the brand all over the place. So... did this mean SJC had to pay a royalty to
have Ralph say "EoD" and if so, why didn't he push to have them include the USE
of the song in the fee?
Ironically, the one change that I would never had known occurred had it not been
mentioned was "Pinball Wizard." And personally, I like the replacement music
better than the original in the scene.

Gladly take over and run that one myself..

SOLID storyline... SJC better do his homework and pass.. I don't want it to end
up like the show DVD's did.. I just want to see something done to lift the black
cloud that seems to hover over this show..
