Also, wanted to mention that so far the movie idea is still going - no plans to
drop it yet. Now, I just hope that they try to get it close to the series in
content - I'd much rather not see something like "Bewitched" or "The Wild Wild
West" turned out to be.

Something like "Maverick" which was VERY close to the way the show appeared each
week would work. In the movie version, "Maverick" kept that tongue in cheek
humor and in jokes to others shows (a couple of their eps parodied characters
from "Bonanza" and "Gunsmoke" (the "Maverick" ep was called "Gun Shy" I believe
too) it was famous for and it worked. It didn't try to totally rework the
formula, which you saw on movies such as the two I first mentioned. Even
"Charlie's Angels" kept a lot of the same formula from the original series.
