"Greatest American Hero" trading cards   Message List

This was posted on the "GAH" messageboard, but I wanted to pass this along to
you.

Stephen J. Cannell and William Katt have teamed up with March of Dimes to
release the first ever trading card of the beloved television series Greatest
American Hero. This product will also be all sketch cards and the proceeds from
the sales go to March of Dimes, too.

Right now, we don't know if it'll just be sketches based on the comic books or
if it'll include things such as the animated shorts or the actual original
series, but it looks like more's on the way. I also don't know if it's just
Cannell and Katt who are working on this or if Connie and Culp will also be
having a hand in it.

One thing I'd think would be neat would be to have all those of the original
cast who are participating to possibly do a doodle sketch for fun (signing them)
and maybe have a limited number of prints made of the doodles and placed in
random packs (this mind you if they're doing them as packs and not individual
cards).

Also, from what I'm hearing they're going to do an animated cartoon of "GAH,"
but I do not know if this is in addition to the shorts or will be in lieu of the
shorts. Plus, there is the off chance however that it's neither and just a
rumor.

Also, wanted to mention that so far the movie idea is still going - no plans to drop it yet. Now, I just hope that they try to get it close to the series in...
