last i heard go to the espn web site there should be a casting site or you can
just email them & wait for reply,that was last i heard give it a shot i guess
they start filming the show in late january.

Not sure if there's any activity on this board but in case someone is
watching what does everyone think of the new Contender series?

I have a blog I've setup with an episode review that people are welcome

Does anyone know the format for this year's series in terms of the
prize purse?  I head seen some references that it was $1Million again
but I thought I heard on the show that it was only $500K?

I know!  I remember reading quite awhile back that cable TVs ESPN was scheduled to show 12, one hour episodes of Season 2 of The Contender starting Saturday, April 1st.  I guess that turned out to be a big April's Fools Joke on me, because I searched all over for it that day.  I still hope it will come back some day.

like the whole thing was staged..   (Where was Dom King??)  All the

at least there can be reasonable disagreement abt mora/manfredo.  mora
put forth a gutty effort, and we all know it's not easy for a guy to
win against another guy in his home town.  it was as close as the
judges scorecards indicated.  the real robbery was brinkley/bonsante.
i liked jesse on the show, but he clearly lost his bout.  those scores
stunk to high heaven.........
