I'm really disappointed in Anthony. I understand the reasoning behind
his decision, but I think it's flawed. He is operating under the
assumption that he will win the $1 million and by doing so will make
life easier for himself and his kids. While that may be true, it is
just as likely (perhaps more so) that he will not win the $1 million,
but that he and his family will get by ok just the same. What he
sacrificed tonight, in order to possibly make it easier to put food on
his kids' table, is a measure of integrity. His kids will be far more
disserved in the future by the damage this has done to his character
than they would be had he stuck to his word and fought Jimmy, lost the
fight, and had to earn a living the old-fashioned way. He lost a
great deal of respect, and in exchange only gained the chance to fight
another day. Maybe for him it's worth it.
