All I just watch is my Bell TV, not my DTV antenna.

I know it's now old news, but still worth mentioning. She will be reunited with
Frank Cavallero. I wonder if it will affect the ratings. CFCF is so far ahead...
Bell is starting to offer TV services via the Internet. So far in select parts
of Mtl and Tor, but eventually everywhere. I checked out the prices and it
doesn't seem to be that great of a bargain compared to cable and sat. I thought
for a second that they would maybe be able to get around some CRTC regs because
it was on the Internet, and so it would be significantly cheaper like you see
with VOIP and such, but it doesn't look like it.
This overlaps ownership with Bell TV & VDN under Bell Canada.

So what are the prices in a bell bundle?

I think the last I saw it ranged from about $20 a month for the bare minimum.

Similar to how Shaw owns Shaw Cable & Shaw Direct (formerly Star Choice).

Haven't tried it yet. Must buy antenna...

Caught only audio for the analogue signoffs of CBMT & CFTM.

According to fondationdesetoiles.ca, the telethon was last held in '08. But
they're wrong. It was '09.

I know what you mean. "Reality" shows, courtroom shows, daytime talk shows,
lousy sitcoms, infomercials - with all the dreck on TV nowadays, sometimes I
wonder why I even bother subscribing to cable. I only watch a few channels
anyway, and the one I watch most regularly is the classic TV channel Me-TV
(which, in my neck of the woods, is on KVOS in Bellingham).

However, I recorded the CFTM-TV signoff last September thru the TV. Also,
CFTU-TV did not become CFTU-DT yet.

Time really flies when there isn't much to talk about!
A lot of things have changed in the past decade:
For one thing, CFCF no longer exists...
As a matter of fact, it has been a pretty horrible decade for anyone who cared
about local Anglo TV in Montreal.
The former CFCF-TV (CTV Montreal) studios on 405 Ogilvy Ave. is now the borough
hall of Villeray/St. Michel/Parc Extension. As of August 31, 2011, the station
uses the calls CFCF-DT instead.
