Yes, there will be over 20 copies of TUA4 in print and 8 of the CD versions. There will also be small amounts of all of our other zines there too, but only the print copies.
During MW, however, if anybody orders the CD versions by emailing me, the shipping price will be waived.

HI there. I know I've missed the deadline by ten days. But I wondered if there will be any copies of TUA4 on sale at the Orphan Zine table for those of us who want it, but forgot to order it? Sorry you won't be there. We still haven't got a room at the convention hotel but I'm hoping they'll reach our place in the waiting list. MediaWest won't be as much fun if we have to trek over from a different hotel. Thanks for the zine. Lorraine M

Just to let you all know that preorders for Media West of our zines must be in by April 30th. I will be sending off the zines on May 1st and want to have all the names of people with reserved copy by that time. For all those who have already put in requests, we thank you for your order.
In addition, we will be having a "We didn't make it to Media West" sale this year. During the time we would traditionally be at the con, May 21-25, 2009, we will not be charging shipping on any of our CD zines. If, at the same time, you order other fandom related products, we will negotiate a reduced shipping rate.
Simply e-mail us, either at ttsis@... or vhtitus98@..., to talk about the reduced shipping. DO NOT use the website for the order, as it will automatically add on postage.
Oh, joy! More to look forward to! Hope ML's muse really works hard!
Payment has been sent for the TUA4s.
Take Care

Hi Vickie
Sounds just right to me. Send it to the TTsis paypal account at ttsis@graffiti. net.
And yes, there will be a TRAS4. Progress has been slow, but right now, according to ML, it's getting to the good parts. So far there have been injuries, a couple of kidnappings and the reappearance of several people who have appeared before in the series.
We were shooting to get it out by the EMC con, but since that con went belly up, we will now get it out as fast as ML can crank out the words and K and I work our magic on it.

Vicki,
I do want copies of both versions of TUA4. Please send the CD right to me. Janice StClair is zine-hunting for me at MW so please keep a copy for her at the Orphan Table.
CD with postage: $15
Print without postage: 15
Total $30. Right?
I'll send payment by PayPal as soon as I hear back from you (they aren't on the TT webpage yet and I can't remember the "code" to put into the "Pay to" block, sorry).
I love the CD versions for the extra illustrations. But it's hard to read it in bed....so I need a copy of both (I'm strange, I know!).

Anyone who follows TRAS knows the fourth installment has been in the works for over 18 months. For the current story, one of the subplots deals with a blow to the head causing confusion and other concussion style symptoms.
By the time it comes to press this fall, it will seem eerily similar to the N. Richardson story. Was the story ahead of the curve? Definitely. Just hope it comes off that way and that we aren't trying to jump on the poor woman's bandwagon.
The U.N.C.L.E. Archives Vol.4 is open for submissions.
This is a Gen/Het zine, no slash please, but we are open to most formats-- straight action/adventure, humor, satire, or any combination of such.
Got a good fic that hasn't seen the light of day in a number of years? Now would be a good time to dust it off, maybe do a little updating and present it to a fresh audience!
All fics will be edited for content, character, continuity and grammar, and will be photo illustrated, (our specialty).
Zine will be published both in hardcopy and CD-Rom and tribbers will receive their choice of format.

Hi
I'm just wondering this bright sunny day (at least here) if anybody got one of
the major in-jokes in TRAS3 and what they thought about it.
In TRAS3, during the cross country trip, Illya has a dream about a devil flying
a plane. Did anybody recognize the demon?
Also, what was your reaction when you saw the illustration in the prologue, and
his connection to the previous demon?
Trying to not give too much away but still looking for answers from the few that
will understand.

For those members lucky enough to go to MW, (I'm so jealous, btw) I've found out the location of the so called Orphan Zine Table. That's where our zines will be this year.
Maps of the dealer room will be posted on the entry door for all shoppers to use, but the OZT is really easy to find. It's right inside the doorway to the left as you enter, at tables 2-5.
Yes it is. All our zines, both past and present will be at the
orphan zine table for this show. I'll try to track down a map and
post it for those that are interested....
Assuming I'm not giving away trade secrets or something.

Hi
Just today, I sent the Daylight print version off to be printed. If
you want the print version, let me know. The CD will be available,
hopefully, within the next couple of weeks. Our other offering this
year, The Uncle Archives #3, will be available at about the same time.
For those of you lucky enough to go to Media West, you can pick up your
products there, without paying shipping costs, just let me know.

Sounds very interesting. I'm not sure which version I want yet. I'll get back to you.

Vicki Titus <vhtitus98@...> wrote:
Hi Lorraine
Let me give you a little overview on what I was trying to do with the 'zine first.
Daylight starts out the same way the hideous Angel Day episode starts out, with Teresa's supposedly dead mother returning to claim her away from Murdoch. I found the characters on that particular episode were
acting atypically and I attempted to rewrite the episode, basing the characters action on how they had acted early in the series. (I placed it there because I suspect the fact that Murdoch got 'the boys' back would have been food for the local gossips for some time, and Angel would have found out.)
I had rewritten the episode before, back in the 90's, with my former writing partner, but that draft was destroyed in a house fire. Using what I could remember of the plot points, and adding a few of my own, I recreated the story.
Both boys are in the book. Scott is there as the intelligent man who could visual large plans very quickly and was thoughtful and concerned with keeping peace in the family. Johnny is there also, coming up with a plan to save Teresa that doesn't go exactly as planned. (basically, the same arrangement as the pilot schemes). I play up the fact that
Johnny, as someone who spent his share of time on the 'dark side' would see Angel and Bolton as the threats they were. Same for Scott, once he understood them, based on the hideous human behavior he was exposed to while in Libby prison. Although Libby is not mentioned directly, he is fairly far from the dandy in the pilot, allowing his largely unstated military and educational background to affect his choices.
The actions of both brothers is totally different from the broadcast episode, as Johnny basically disappeared about halfway through the show, and I can't see him letting Angel and Bolton go for three days before anything happens. His actions, coupled with Angel's reaction to them drive the action, forcing Scott to act on his own, away from Murdoch, with each Lancer man doing what he thinks is best to break up Angel's plans.
I see the actions I wrote as more in line with the
characters as I see them. Scott following the group for 3 days, without trying to sneak into the group somehow, with some sort of plan, such as the pass cutback from the pilot just offends my sensibilities of the man he was. Johnny meekly following Murdoch's orders also drove me crazy, so I attempted to fix both of those.
About halfway through the zine, however, something happens that threatens to break up the family, even more than Angel and Bolton. This event, started in part by Murdoch's 'wrong headed' thoughts, is something I can guarantee is not something you'll find in many Lancer Zines.
I hope this helps explain the action in the book in general terms, without giving too many spoilers.

I am interested. If you don't mind me asking, can you tell me something about the plot? Does it contain both brothers? I do kinda prefer on brother so I'd like to make sure he's in it.

Hi
I'm just writing to give all the Lancer members an update on my progress with Daylight. The story has been reworked a little, with additional scenes added and I'm now in the process of illustrating the print version, which will have a pg13 rating and black and white illustrations. My best guess at the moment is that there will be approximately 50 or 60 illustrations in the book and approximately 150 pages.
The CD copies will be after that and will contain both the PG13 version and the Adult
version. All illustrations will be in color, and there will be many more of them.
Please contact me OFFLIST if you would like a copy of either layout so I will know how many to print / press. The prices will be 16 dollars for the print copy and 12 dollars for the CD Copy. Shipping is on top of these. (Contact me for shipping info.)
Thanks
Vicki

Let me give you a little overview on what I was trying to do with the 'zine first.
Daylight starts out the same way the hideous Angel Day episode starts out, with Teresa's supposedly dead mother returning to claim her away from Murdoch. I found the characters on that particular episode were acting atypically and I attempted to rewrite the episode, basing the characters action on how they had acted early in the series.
Both
boys are in the book. Scott is there as the intelligent man who could visual large plans very quickly and was thoughtful and concerned with keeping peace in the family. Johnny is there also, coming up with a plan to save Teresa that doesn't go exactly as planned. (basically, the same arrangement as the pilot schemes). I play up the fact that Johnny, as someone who spent his share of time on the 'dark side' would see Angel and Bolton as the threats they were. Same for Scott, once he understood them, based on the hideous human behavior he was exposed to while in Libby prison. Although Libby is not mentioned directly, he is fairly far from the dandy in the pilot, allowing his largely unstated military and educational background to affect his choices.
The actions of both brothers is totally different from the broadcast episode, as Johnny basically disappeared about halfway through the show, and I
can't see him letting Angel and Bolton go for three days before anything happens. His actions, coupled with Angel's reaction to them drive the action, forcing Scott to act on his own, away from Murdoch, with each Lancer man doing what he thinks is best to break up Angel's plans.
I see the actions I wrote as more in line with the characters as I see them.
This event, started in part by Murdoch's 'wrong headed' thoughts, is something I can guarantee is not
something you'll find in many Lancer Zines.
I hope this helps explain the action in the book in general terms, without giving too many spoilers.

At the request of one of the members, I have constructed an
alternative, expanded version of the Rogues Gallery. It gives the name
of the actor involved, in addition to the character name and picture.
I intend to do the same for each of the TRAS books.
Simply go to the file section and click on TRASI GS. pdf

I had planned to but the U.N.C.L.E. contingent seems to be alone. Even when the con comittee asked about five primary fandoms, MFU hardly registered at all. Even Joyce didn't list MFU as a top fandom anymore.
Are we fading?
So, will probably wait for something else. Shame, so many cousins in the Northeast it would be nice to have a con there. I would have been able to drive down.
O well, things happen they why they are meant to happen ;-)
Nope. Joyce (of Lionheart Distribution) will be handing our preorders
and has agreed to take new orders if someone wants something.
Will you be going? Do you want us to send something there for you?

Twisted Tsister Productions, a multi-media fandom company, is
currently accepting preorders for EMC, (Eastern Media Convention)
which is scheduled August 22-24, 2007 in Newark, NJ.
To see a list of our available Man from U.N.C.L.E. zines, please go
to:
http://members.cox.net/vtitus/ttfanfic.htm
To see a list of our other fandom related products, please go to:
http://members.cox.net/vtitus/ttcat02.htm
These items can be created for ANY fandom.
Lionheart Distribution will be distributing preorders for us, along
with several other small companies. They will, however, have NO
merchandise at the con other than pre ordered items. If there's a
product you want, you MUST preorder it. Due to printing / shipping
limitations, the deadline for preorders is AUGUST 05, 2007. They
will TAKE orders at the con, but those orders will have shipping
added to the total.
Prepayment is preferred at the time of order but we can try to work
things out to suit both of us. Do not, however, use the on-site
shopping card system because some prices include shipping. To ask
about products, pricing or to place an order, please email
ttsis@....
If you plan on attending the con, this is a good chance to pick up
some fandom related products in person and avoid paying postage.
Thanks
