Survivors tv series mailing list is based on the British television series which first aired in the late 70's. The story line is that a plague has killed off most of the world's population and only 1 in 10,000 have survived in the UK. The survivors most now live in small isolatd farming communes. The survivors most now learn how to live off the land or starve. Many of the survivors have no farming skills let alone survival skills. Despite these set backs the characters carry on and try to reunite the many scatterd communes of Britian and repair a hydro electric dam in hope of lifting England out of its new found dark age.
