i would enjoy reading an argument stating that Freddy/Kendra were
more deserving of the win than Kris/Jon were. any sane person
who watched the entire show, and knows how to average numbers,
knows that Kris/Jon did much better than Freddy/Kendra overall,
followed by Hayden/Aaron, and then Freddy/Kendra fairly far
behind the top two.
the only reason why F/K beat K/J is that F/K went to United's
counter first in Honolulu, and K/J went to American's counter
first. switch the two, and K/J would've won.
this was by far my favorite season of AR, and i believe had by
far the best teams of any season, both in likeability and skill.
i think F/K, H/A, and K/J would've finished in the final three
in any season of AR. i don't have a clear memory of past
seasons, but when thinking of better teams, only Chip/Reichen and
Rob/Brennan come to mind.
i'm interested to see that the AR7 cast is completely different
than the AR6 cast. there are still plenty of LA teams, but also
lots of teams from southern states, no northeastern teams (other
than Rob), and apparently no models. and it looks like the only
male/female romantic-relationship teams are Rob/Amber, Ron/Kelly,
and Ray/Deana. i don't see many team types that have fared well
in the past: Rob/Amber (certainly), Ron/Kelly, possibly
Brian/Greg. those three are my pre-season F3 picks. if the
entire bunch gangs up on Rob/Amber (which would probably only
work if every Yield was used on R/A), i'll put Ray/Deana at 3rd.
full pre-season picks (winner to first eliminated):
1. Ron/Kelly
2. Brian/Greg
3. Rob/Amber
4. Ray/Deana
(big gap)
5. UChenna/Joyce
6. Ryan/Chuck
7. Lynn/Alex
8. Debbie/Bianca
9. Megan/Heidi
10. Meredith/Gretchen
11. Susan/Patrick
