Brittney is neither of those two. I know her and she is stressed and overworked
and tired.. As a fellow supernanny family I know from experience when the crew
is there it is hard to do daily things they change your "routine" so much during
the filming that sometimes you forget to eat. There are long days during
filming and it is not always conducive to sitting down and eating. therefore
many times it is grabbing whatever you can as a bite.. Know more than what you
see about the family on tv before you make assumptions or ask if it could be a
possibility before you judge..

Doesn't anyone see that Brittany is anorexic/anemic? ?? Why the dark
circle under her poor overworked eyes? I don't understand why ABC
didn't notify DCFS on the abuse of the older girls as well as the
young boys.

Please Lord help me to help them.

completelt pointless. Another suggestion would be for you or the parents to
video tape hours at home just so they and the speciialist could get a better
idea on exactly whats going on. They may not even realize how awful the things
they say or do are and how much they are affecting their child. You could kindly

Dear Amber,
Thank you so much for taking the time to write me such a caring letter.
The child is actually my brother and his wife. The reason why I was looking
for a Super-nanny-type for them, is because the child has no physical or medical
problem...it is the parents. They don't work as a team and their parenting
skills are lacking to the point whereas the child does whatever he wants.
Family get-togethers are always disrupted and very unpleasant due to the
behavior of their child. Family members and friends have tried to advise them,
but they just don't get it. They need someone to come into the home and teach
them techniques and point out to them what they are doing wrong. They are both
older parents with no patience for a child. The parents blame the child for
everything...yet it is clear to everyone else that it is because of the parents
lack of proper discipline for the child that is the problem. The parents spoke
of going to a psychiatrist, but I am afraid that if the doctor listens only to
the parents' side, he will end up just putting
the child on some sort of medication...when he doesn't need to be. If the
doctor got to see the child in his living environment, and how the parents
handle things, I believe he would understand the dilemma the child is in.
Family members have heard the parents call the child "bad," "stupid," and a
"bum." We have tried to explain to them not to label child with a negative
name...but to tell their child that the "behavior" is bad, not the child. The
parents need outside assistance, rather than advice from family members or
friends. The child's behavior has effected his schooling. The child is very
intelligent and does very well scholastically, but refuses to follow
instructions in school because he is too used to getting his own way and being
the center of attention.

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. You have been very sweet and
kind. I appreciate your reaching out to me, and for your caring suggestions. I
spent a couple of hours on the computer today, trying to find a behavioral
specialist, and I did find one in Wall, New Jersey. We live in North Brunswick.
I hope this behavioral specialist will come into their home and observe for a
day, like the Super-nanny does. I forwarded the site to my brother and his
wife, along with 3 other websites with some interesting information about
behavioral problems. They were very thankful for the information. Thank you
for your assistance, Amber. Up until yesterday, I had no idea that the job
title for what I was looking for was "behavioral specialist" until you informed
me about it. Thank you so much! You are an angel.

   With thanks and appreciation,
   Cynthia

they work on behaviours and things. Another option would be for you to have your
child seen by a psychologist and see about getting a TSS (therapeutic support
system) which is a person who would be assigned acertain # of hrs. a week to
spend with your child and help with creating goals, rewards, etc..They also
offer mobile therapists who will see your child at home and/or at school..they
help with goals, behaviours, etc.. also.
Also...does your child have any diagnosis? Or any issues that you suspect, such
as adhd or anything.
I think the biggest thing is to look into why your child acts the way he/she
does first. Then work on finding a help resource.
I have no idea where in NJ you are, but here's a site I found that may help you,
or at least maybe they can offer you phone #'s or information for what you need.

Good Luck, and feel free to ask any more questions.

Dear Amber,
Thank you so very much for your advice. I clicked around on the internet and
couldn't find a behavior specialist in my state, (New Jersey). I also tried to
find a behavior analyst or behavior practitioner. There were schools and things
regarding children with autism, which is not the case here. Would you know if
there is any other job title for this particular kind of expertise?
I appreciate your kind assistance. God bless you and your family.

If unable to be on the show, how can one obtain Supernanny's help?
Are there any other Supernannies that our family can be referred to?

Subject: Time For GOD?

Read only if you have time for God.
Let me tell you, make sure you read all the way to the bottom. I almost deleted
this email but I was blessed when I got to the end

God, when I received this e-mail, I thought...
I don't have time for this... And, this is really inappropriate during work.

Then, I realized that this kind of thinking is... Exactly, what has caused lot
of the problems in our world today.

We try to keep God in church on Sunday morning...
Maybe, Sunday night...
And, the unlikely event of a midweek service.
We do like to have Him around during sickness...

And, of course, at funerals.
However, we don't have time, or room, for Him during work or play...

Because.. That's the part of our lives we think... We can, and should, handle on
our own.
May God forgive me for ever thinking...
That... there is a time or place where..
HE is not to be FIRST in my life.

We should always have time to remember all HE has done for us.

If, You aren't ashamed to do this...
Please follow the directions.
Jesus said, "If you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you before my
Father."
Not ashamed?
Pass this on ONLY IF YOU MEAN IT!!
Yes, I do Love God.
HE is my source of existence and Savior.
He keeps me functioning each and every day. Without Him, I will be nothing. But,
with Christ, HE strengthens me. (Phil 4:13)
This is the simplest test.
If You Love God... And, are not ashamed of all the marvelous things HE has done
for you...

Send this to ten people and the person who sent it to you!
Now do you have the time to pass it on?
Make sure that you scroll through to the end.

Easy vs. Hard

Why is it so hard to tell the truth but Yet so easy to tell a lie?
Why are we so sleepy in church but Right when the sermon is over we suddenly
wake up?
Why is it so easy to delete a Godly e-mail, but yet we forward all of the nasty
ones?
Of all the free gifts we may receive, Prayer is the very best one....
There are no costs, but wonderful rewards... GOD BLESS!
Notes: Isn't it funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder
why the world's going to hell.
Isn't it funny how someone can say "I believe in God" but still follow Satan
(who, by the way, also "believes" in God).
Isn't it funny how you can send a thousand jokes through e-mail and they spread
like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people
think twice about sharing?

Isn't it funny how when you go to forward this message, you will not send it to
many on your address list because you're not sure what they believe, or what
they will think of you for sending it to them.
Isn't it funny how I can be more worried about what other people think of me
than what God thinks of me.

I pray, for everyone who sends this to their entire address book, they will be
blessed by God in a way special for them.
And send it back to the person who sent it, to let them know that indeed it was
sent out to many people
