Space Patrol (original title: Raumpatrouille) debuted on German television on September 17th, 1966 - just nine days after Star Trek's debut in the U.S. Running to just seven episodes, today we would regard Space Patrol as a mini-series. The episodes all feature self contained stories but there is an ongoing storyline involving the villains of the piece - the "Frogs".
