"TEEN TO SCREEN: With "High School Musical 3" on the big screen, can we
now expect more Disney Channel movies to spawn features -- like,
say, "Camp Rock 2" starring the Jonas Bros. and Demi Lovato? Disney
production chieftain Oren Aviv isn't ruling out anything. "We're always
thinking about how we can use great creative ideas," he says. "


Well, why not push series to movies? Sure, they did Lizzie McGuire,
and are doing Hannah Montana, but these are massive hit series. We
need to encourage regular series. POTF is the perfect test bed. If it
succeeds, great, a whole new avenue of any series going to the movies
(and not just a DCOM like Even Stevens or Kim Possible). If not, no
real harm done, as it's an already over series, and won't be affectd by
a poor/failed movie version.

Disney knows there's an already built in fan base, due to our
constantly trying to get more Phil. Now, we're helping them to find a
whole new avenue for all their series, not just mega hit series.
