There is a term for guys who have an appreciation for fashion, are refined in taste, have liberal political views, etc., (traits usually attributed to gay men). That term is "metrosexual".
There must be many males who fall in that category for someone to come up with a term to describe them.
I don't think it's wrong to categorize, sort and classify people - isn't that kind of wired in our system? What I do think is wrong is to believe a person or group is less deserving of our civility and concern, just because they're different in some way.

A few years ago a friend of mine made the remark...what does it say about us (society)that if a guy wears nice clothes and is polite we assume he is gay.
