I just posted the same group of stories about this to my Classic Nickelodeon group as well and I'll say the same thing here that I did there.
I am personally outraged by Nickelodeon's decision to allow a convicted felon to potentially win an award at a children's award program!!!!!!!!!
He beat the living hell out of poor Rihanna and everyone is supposed to act like nothing happened???
Nick should pull his nomination and explain to the children who nominated him why ANYONE who beats up a woman is nothing but a piece of TRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!

> Subject: [SNICK_Tribute_Page] Nickelodeon: Chris Brown to Remain Kids' Choice Nominee
>
> http://www.usmagazine.com/news/nickelodeon-chris-brown-to-remain-kids-choice-nominee-2009103
>
> Nickelodeon is standing by troubled singer Chris Brown, who has been charged with two felonies in the alleged beating of girlfriend Rihanna.
>
> In a statement to Usmagazine.com, the network said Brown, 19, will remain a Kids' Choice Award nominee for favorite male singer and favorite song for "Kiss Kiss." (He will be competing against Rihanna in the latter category.)
>
> An online petition asking Nickelodeon to remove Brown and Rihanna as nominees had 2,166 signatures Tuesday.
>
> But a network rep tells Us: "Like all our KCA nominees, Chris Brown was nominated by kids several months ago based on his work as a performer, and the kids who vote will ultimately decide who wins in the category."
>
> The same day Brown was charged with two felonies, he apparently posted a MySpace blog asking fans to vote for him in the Kids' Choice content.
>
> The awards are set for March 28.
