Description

From August 15, 1992-mid 2004, Nickelodeon presented a Saturday night institution for America's youth. SNICK invited us to sit on the comfy big orange couch (the official mascot of SNICK) from 8:00-10:00. It was must see TV for kids who were getting away from school for the weekend. SNICK featured such classic programs as "Clarissa Explains it All", "Roundhouse", "The Secret World of Alex Mack", "Kenan and Kel", "Ren and Stimpy", "The Adventures of Pete and Pete", the original "All That", "Space Cases", and "Are You Afraid of the Dark", just to name a few. The "golden age" of SNICK was from 1992-1999 (when the big orange couch, the heart and soul of the block was retired). Although the "SNICK" name is no longer active (instead, we have the rather sterile, bland "TEENick"), this page intends on keeping its spirit and legacy alive.
