I didn't realise Thunderbirds was on Blu-ray, that's almost enough to convince
me to buy a player :).

However, I'd be interested to see some side-by-side comparison between the 4:3
DVD and 16:9 Blu-ray; I've seen a number of episodes of Space 1999 in 16:9 HD
and I didn't feel that I was missing anything. After all, when shooting film for
TV in those days the important action was almost always framed close to the
center of the screen because there was so much variation in the amount of
overscan on different TV sets.
