This mornings Orbital Sciences Taurus rocket launching the Orbiting
Carbon Observatory for NASA from Vandenberg Air Force Base, California
ended in failure due to what appears to be the fairing failing to
separate properly.

[I got to see the Taurus rocket fly down the coast of Southern
California, it was a beautiful clear night to see it as the rocket
streaked across the sky seeing all the stages.]
