Thursday (6-07) a Delta II rocket (7420-10 configuration) is scheduled
to launch the COSMO-1 satellite for the Italian Space Agency from
SLC-2W, Vandenberg Air Force Base, California.
Launch attempt is scheduled 10:21 p.m. EDT. with a window extending to
10:34 p.m. EDT.
Satellite separation is scheduled for 58 minutes after launch.
The only worry is strong winds are predicted during the countdown.
COSMO-1 (Constellation of Small Satellites for Mediterranean basin
Observation), built by Thales Alenia Space Italia for the Italian Space
Agency and the Italian Ministry of Defence, consists of four
medium-sized satellites designed to offer both civilian and military use
of an Earth-watching X-band Syntetic Aperture Radar instrument.

AMC-2 @ 85°W Transponder 1 Ku (11720 V)
Coverage is expected to start about 9:45 p.m. EDT.
