I will answer the questions about the vampire thread and how I see it.
We have a Vampire King, the oldest in the clan.
Under him are the council who can advise him when asked and take care of minor problems.
The army of mortals who guard them during the day and serve them
Mortal servants.
Mortal slaves.
Mortal feeders. Those used to feed the vampires when needed. Now this lot is well cared for to keep them healthy and happy and willing to donate. None are forced to be feeders.
Vampire soldiers.
And the rest of the vampire clan. All rich and highly educated.
There would be one main Manor House where the King lives with his chosen few.
The other vampires can have their own homes if they choose. Travel by boat, plane and train can be used when a gathering is required. This is modern time so computers and such are in use.
You can be loyal or be plotting behind the scenes.
