Happy 77th birthday to my favorite family feud host Richard Dawson
tomorrow. hope it's a good day. Hope Gretchen and Shannon don't spoil you to
much.

I'm pretty sure he was in the group that survived, but he didn't have any lines
toward the end.

Re the accent, it reminds me of a HH episode called, "The Scientist", where
Newkirk has to pretend he's LeBeau.  He actually manages to speak French with a
Cockney accent!  It's hillarious to hear!

the film.  Does anyone know if his character lives or is killed?

I'd have to go with "Running Man".  OK, it was almost written for him, but he
WAS the whole movie.  It was a fantastic performance!  I've always been
surprised that he didn't go on to do a lot more movies after that.

did where dramas...  "King Rat", "The Devil's Brigade", "Running Man".

We used to have a member who was Canadian, and she told us that the accent RD
used in "Devil's Brigade" wasn't just regular Scottish, it was
Canadian-Scottish!  That kind of attention-to-detail had to be for personal

I can't remember who I chose...I might not have picked anyone yet because I'm
not sure. I'm not sarcastic and stuff like Newkirk is, I don't have a talent for

Nobody died.  It is just something they do every now and again.  The DVD set of
Hogan is really incredible.  I think everyone into Richard should pick the sets
up.
