I have a few things to say.

First, for those of you who have seen the stupid rumours about
Richard beign sick or dying, I've said MANY times before not to
believe everything you read without checking to make sure it's true.
In this case, it wasn't. Since I've had my website and this group,
I've had eMails just about every single week asking if Richard is
still alive. People making bets on if he is or not, etc. Even
though it says on my site that he's alive and well, there are always
those who choose to ignore that. RICHARD IS NOT SICK AND HE IS NOT
DYING. Even if he was, the news would have to come from him or his
family, not some doctor who doesn't mind breaking the doctor/patient
confidentiality rule even when he's lying to beginwith. Sorry, but
if someone told me a doctor said RD was sick/dying, I wouldn't go
around telling people.

Second, I've long since moved on to other interests and haven't
posted in ages. You can see what happens when people don't post?
There's no point in having a group with no posts. Which was my point
when I made up the rules years ago that if you join, then you should
post.

Again, people chose to ignore what I said about "If you've posted
before, you will NOT be removed." I was directing the rule to those
who joined YEARS ago and have yet to post a single word. You can
read the posts without joining, so it appears as though people only
joined to see what free photos and things they could look at. I even
had a lot of people join, look at the members-only stuff and then
unjoin. Too much time went into this group and I think I had a right
to set a few rules. Even more time went into explaining that they
didn't apply to those who posted before. I don't know why that was
so hard to understand.

And the excuses about "I don't have time to log in every single day
to post!" got really lame. I didn't tell anyone to do that. And if
you already posted, then it didn't even apply to you. Yet if you
managed to take the time to join this group, you had SOME time,
didn't you? You could have taken 1 minute to say hello when someone
spoke directly to you. I was working at 3am, running this group,
running my site, taping everything RD was in every day AND making
videos for people who needed them and somehow *I* managed to find the
time to post almost every day. Imagine that.

Another rule was to have the eMails set to SPECIAL NOTICES so that
when I sent out something important (once every few years!) people
would get it and not ask what it was about later cos they didn't get
it. Nevermind the fact that I have to go through 100+ members and
set the eMail settings for those who couldn't take a second to do
this.

I'd also like to thank those who stuck by this group and didn't run
over to the others and talk about me and the group behind my back.
Boo hoo, you didn't like the rules. Sorry you had to follow a few
simple ones that really didn't even apply to you in the first place!
Very mature to go somewhere else and talk bad about me and my
horrible rules. I didn't see you offering to help run this group. I
didn't see you making all the photos or building the site or making
all the videos for people who needed them. And you had the nerve to
judge ME for trying to keep the club running! I guess you'd prefer
to just sit in a group without any new posts. Wow, what fun! I mean
this place is really fantastic now that there aren't that many posts,
huh? Forgive me for trying to prevent it from dying out like it
has. I'm sure you could do better.

So yeah, thanks to those who acted like my friend and then went off
to talk sh!t about me. It's a great feeling to be hurt like that
after putting so much into a site and group. Not to mention many of
you believed some crackpot idiot claiming to be RD and completely
ignored me when I said I knew for a fact that it wasn't. How nice to
have people you thought were your friends believe some nut instead.

Thanks to those who are the REAL reason this group did as well as it
did. I wish YOU all the best.
