There is going to be a Ron Paul meetup for all to come to on June 30th
at 9am at the Yards Brewery, to show support for Ron and help make
signs and banners to get the word out for our constitutional hero.

All should come and support this man.

I want to recommend a new documentary entitled
Islam: What The West Needs To Know. It's on YouTube here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=00MQkA0F1w4
What it says seems to square with what Ibn Warraq and
other ex-Muslims say about that religion, namely that
it is in fact totalitarian and not merely a person religion
and has been in a continual state of war since the start.

This argument is of course not at all logically inconsistent
with 9/11 truth, but rather it provides a new explanation as to
why the Neocons perpetrated 9/11: it was to recognize
an enemy that is very similar to Communism & Nazism,
which will ensure perpetual profits for the corporate
war industry. Unlike the Reds and fascists however,
all consumers of petroleum products actually fund
the new enemy.

Dear Progressives,

Tomorrow night is the sneak preview of "Sicko" in Voorhees . We have been talking and working on this for a couple of months now, & it was a surprise to find out our screening would be a week in advance of the grand opening.

On the  conference call last night with PDA Headquarters, Diane, our head of  PDA Field Operations, had attended the premiere showing  held in DC to the members of Congress ,on Wednesday night with Michael Moore . She said the response to the film was tremendous and very well received by the Congressional members in attendance. Also she said Michael Moore has agreed to support and promote HR676 in conjunction with his film. GREAT NEWS !!!!!!!!!!!

Now I have to ask how many will be attending tomorrow night to help hand out the flyers we have prepared to get people involved in pushing their elected officials to co - sponsor and support Conyers bill. Regretfully too many are unaware of the difference between Universal and Single Payer.
The general public will fall for the Universal that the majority of the candidates are currently pushing, unaware they are actually voting for the same ole thing.....insurance companies making profits!!!

If you are attending tomorrow night please let me know and if you are planning on attending any of the screenings in Philly next week , contact me to arrange for handing out flyers on other dates.

Here is the information about the movie again:

Also our Monthly meeting of PDA/DFA Progressive Democracy So. Jersey will be held on Tues. June 26, Haddon Twp. Library, 15 MacArthur Blvd. Westmont at 7:00 PM.

1.Kathy Hogan will do a short presentation to the group concerning 3/5 law concerning number of commissioners, and Eminent Domain. She will lead us through the process of getting these resolutions passed in Collingswood and Haddon Twp.

2. There will be a discussion on planning a fund raiser , resulting from the showing of Ground Truth and the presentation of Patrick Resta, to support his efforts in forming a  new organization to assist returning Iraq/Afghanistan Troops suffering with PTSD. Please come  with Ideas and help us make this a huge success.

3. We will be showing the Greg Palast 's film "THE BIG EASY, TO THE BIG EMPTY":The Untold Story of the Drowning of New Orleans. Two years after the devastation, only a fraction of the population of New Orleans has returned. Palast visits the barren city America forgot, taking notice of the scant reconstruction efforts, climbing suicide rates, and FEMA's fundamental disorganization.

Please join us for an evening of useful information and entertainment.

IN THE NEWS:

Well Cheryl ..........I guess this answers your question to Rob Andrews....about stopping aggression against Iran. This is from his latest newsletter:
Iran’s Influence Extends to our Hemisphere

I recently became an original cosponsor of a Congressional resolution that highlights my concern of the growing influence of Iran in Latin America and the increase of terrorist activities in the region.  H Res 435 raises awareness of the emerging national security threats as a result of relationships between the leaders of Iran and regimes in the Western Hemisphere like Venezuela.  As a co-Chair of the Iran Working Group, I am committed to stopping the influence of this radical and dangerous regime, especially close to home.

This resolution expresses support for the people of Iran and Venezuela as they strive for freedom, respect for human rights and civil liberties.  It also recommends to the President that he create more mechanisms for joint country terror operations and inter-regional information sharing.  I strongly believe we must take proactive steps to limit the reach of the Iranian regime and radical Islamic terrorism.

Ritzhead Alert! This Just in-  In case you didn't know the Ritz was sold out to a large Corporation, and future showings of controversial films like Sicko may be deleted from their selections of movies to be shown. I think it would be in our best interest if some of us would attend and express our concerns to them not to join the other local theaters in only showing fictional and sometimes really degrading ,to our intellect,  screenings.

Hi guys,
Interesting sign. More and more people are using freeway signs
like yours.

My most basic comment is, one has to think like a publisher.
Indeed you are a publisher. You're just not charging for the words,
so specifically you're a blogger. Hence the term "freeway blogger".
Examples: http://www.freewayblogger.com/

As a publisher one has to think of time & effort spent and cost --
versus results achieved i.e. eyeballs reading the words.
So then the question is, how to maximize the number of views.

I imagine that issues to consider include:
1. # of cars passing the location per day
2. Average speed of cars passing
3. Size of lettering
4. Wording -- to maximize impact & meaning

Probably PennDot has stats on #s of cars moving along highways
and average speeds.

In my case, I minimize time, effort & cost by putting signs on the back
of my truck. I do this & people see my signage every day, especially
at intersections, and no one can claim I'm breaking any law
e.g. littering or tagging, and I make it impossible to remove the sign
since it's on the inside of the glass. I'm fairly certain that about 5 people
read my signs every day, based on previous experiements, so
5 times 30 days is 150 people/month.

I publish my views online,
I publish my views on my truck.
To me they're two branches of the same activity.

My 2 current signs say
1.
"9/11 was an inside job, google TerrorStorm"

2.
"The evidence shows 9/11 was perpetrated by
criminals in the US government with Bush's help,
google TerrorStorm, 9/11 mysteries ..." etc

I guess if the treasonous police state goons were to try to make
such self-expression illegal I'd still do it. After all, what did
the USA fight Italian fascists and German Nazis for
we're going to let the same mindset take over here?
To people like that, free will is itself an illegal protest.

Ron Paul Debate Victory Party
Tuesday, June 5th, 7:00 pm

Valley Forge Beef & Ale
827 Trooper Rd.
Audubon, PA. 19403

Ron Paul supporters of all political persuasions are invited to enjoy
some food and beverages and cheer for Dr. P as he crushes the
competition in the 3rd Republican presidential debate.

> The NH Institute of Politics announces that the Republican
> presidential debate will take place on June 5, 2007, from 7 p.m. to
> 9 p.m. "Sponsored by CNN, WMUR-TV and the New Hampshire Union

> Giuliani, U.S. Sens. John McCain and Sam Brownback, Gov. Mike
> Huckabee, former Govs. Mitt Romney and Jim Gilmore, and Congressmen
> Tom Tancredo, Ron Paul and Duncan Hunter."

Tasteful heckling of the other participants will be allowed (and
encouraged). Bring friends and family. If debates 1 & 2 are any
indicator, this will be another slam dunk for the doctor.

There is a free wi-fi if you want to bring a laptop.

I hope to see you there.

My schedule is tight, set something up for 2 weeks out.

I’m in the Norristown area but can meet anywhere within an hour or so drive.

I assume that we will be doing a monthly truth action on June 11th, although I have not heard anything specific.
