Nope, it is the Silva Screen Year 1 on Amazon for $130. The only Fanderson on
they have listed is Year 2 and its "unavailable":

BTW, I did get my Year 2 Silva Screen from Buysoundtrax today. This is the
third time I've order from them with no problems.

Well, at least ONE good thing about Filmsoundtrax.Com is that they have a few
promo soundtracks. I saw the promo DW-produced disc for Year Two of
"Space:1999", the 4-CD set of "Battlestar Galactica" & Elmer Bernsteins' score
from "Heavy Metal". Their service may stink but, their selection is one of the
best I've seen...

disability, and reprisal.

I have difficulty in understanding why standards such as these would make anyone
ill.

And even more so why they would be attracted to science fiction such
as "space 1999" and "star trek" which makes the point to celebrate
diversity. Fear of diversity usually equates to fear of change which
is a common trait to almost everyone. That being said, everyone is
welcome to their opinion so I just choose to not let people like that
be around me a lot (and I'm sure they do the same with people like me).

There will ALWAYS be remakes (and nearly EVERYTHING will be remade...At some
point)...I really don't know why people have such a hard time grasping that.

How many times has Dracula or Frankenstein been remade or reimagined? How many
times have the works of Shakespeare been remade or reimagined? Stories by H.G.
Wells, Edgar Allan Poe and even Stephen King...Many of their stories have been
made into films or TV films and many have been remade...And will be remade
AGAIN.

Isn't it about time y'all got used to the concept of remakes?

Why ask why? It seems kind of pointless to whine about it.

It's one thing to remake adapatations of books or plays, but remaking film or TV
originals is just creatively bankrupt.  Folks who just blindly accept remakes
miss the point, and the remake usually eclipes the original in the public eye
and marginalises it.  1999 has been getting much better reviews in recent
years, but a remake would consign it to obscurity (and it is fairly obscure
now).

Nope, it is the Silva Screen Year 1 on Amazon for $130. The only Fanderson on
they have listed is Year 2 and its "unavailable" :

The organization I work for believes that our most valuable asset is our people
and that they are entitled to an environment free from discrimination and sexual
harassment.  Our goal is to ensure that all employees - and even all job
applicants - receive equality of opportunity.  Therefore, it is necessary to
have a workplace and work environment free of discrimination based on race,
color, religion, national origin, sex (gender), age, sexual orientation,
disability, and reprisal.

I have difficulty in understanding why standards such as these would make anyone
ill.

Watch Stargate Universe, it's a S:99 knock-off :) Entertaining enough, just not
NEAR as good as S:99.

Why?  Why on Earth do we need another remake; we are drowning in them as it is.
 Remakes are creatively bankrupt.

I like it, but still like the old show better.

If  "v" is  a remake,    I hope is there is a Space 1999 remake coming

Trying again, posted 2 days ago but it didnt come through.

Here in Europe, the release is widely available online, iTunes and Amazon.co.uk
has it for download.

There is an interesting customer review about it from a fan who compares it to
the FANDERSON release.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/product-reviews/B002Q0SO0A/ref=dp_db_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UT\
F8&showViewpoints=1

I am wondering if the Silva mix was made according to the wishes or with the
personal involvement of the late Derek Wadsworth, I seem to recall something
about that he was not happy about the Fanderson CD mix. Any further info about
this would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

There is a detailed customer review of the release at

http://www.amazon.co.uk/product-reviews/B002Q0SO0A/ref=dp_db_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UT\
F8&showViewpoints=1

I wonder if this release was remixed according to the wishes of the late Derek
Wadsworth, I seem to recall something about the mixing on the Fanderson disc was
not satisfactory to him? Someone has the details on that story?

Thanks.
