Barbara Bain isn't for everyone. I'd recommend renting Mission:Impossible
Seasons 1 - 3. She does some great work there. You'll have more of an
appreciation of her acting ability (though that didn't seem to work for Karl
and wife).

As for her Space:1999 Year 1 performance, I would describe it as a passive
performance - you have to go to her rather than she come to you as say Landau
would.

Martin Landau tends to use dramatics - voice and moving hands.

Barry Morse tends to use his voice.

Barbara Bain uses her eyes/facial expressions - and that's what I think people
miss. Watch her eyes/facial expressions - even if she isn't the focus of the
scene, she has something to "say" with her eyes/facial expression.
