Yeah, how 'bout we take pictures of group members as dedicated fans of
Nowhere Man. I'm in! It would be like a portfolio

Hi all
Strange and much too long discussion about the now two different
NWM-List we have in the other house at cnation.
Anyway I would like to add to my first step into this other really good
NWM-List once again an introduction of my great personality.
I'm so long a member of the NWM netcompany, at least for three
years and most of this time a lurker and I still don't know any
personal facts about the other NWM fans. And well, living in Switzerland
is not a good help to meet any other NWM fans in reality. I really would
like to take part in the NWM festival but the USA are too far away
from my hometome.
Well here's my introduction:
I'm Matthias, 21 years old and I saw all NWM episodes years ago
on a German tv channel. I like all good mystery series and I would
say Dark Skies is almost as good as Nowhere Man. And of course
I'm also a big Sarah Michelle Gellar fan. If you ask me, Buffy really
belongs to Xander!!!
Well to earn some money I'm a journalist and write stuff for our local
newspaper here in the beautiful Thun,Switzerland. Unfortunately
they never filmed a NWM episode here, just many years ago a
James Bond movie. The one with the unknown actor and the million
miles of snow.
That's all for now
Hope you get some interesting messages from this list
Bye
Matthias
Hello Liesha,
Welcome to the list, and I hope you will enjoy yourself here.
Cheers,
Kristien

So far, we have a pretty small group saying they will go to this event. We
have an operative posting flyers in the Portland area, but we don't know if
this will darw anyone in. Even if it turns out to be small, it will still be
fun for me.

while most people here are probably aware of it, there is an ongoing
website for Nowhere Fan Fiction located at www.cro
sswinds.net/~impulse49
That site was created after Phoenix Televisions, a cyber site of fan
fiction relating to a host of cancelled programs, made its first
Nowhere Man
offering....a 'made for tv' script entitled "The Wilderness" by a
person named Randall Hopkins. The 'Wilderness' script picks up Tom's
story after
the events at the end of the show's first, and, to date, only season.
After this, a writer by the name of Christopher Turner began to crank
out a whole
'second season' of scripts.
Both the 'Wilderness' script and the Chris Turner arc of scripts are
available for download at the impulse49 site.

Welcome Liesha!
I thought Nowhere Man was a hit too. I guess other people can't appreciate
good entertainment. We'll show them. I forgot all about that USA deal too.
I'm going to check in on that on Tuesday. Thanks for the reminder.

Hello,
My name is Liesha and I'm from Lodi, California.
I watched Nowhere Man since it first came on and I was
really saddened and in shock when it just disappeared
off the airwaves. I thought the show was a hit.
I heard that UPN is being bought by USA but I'm not
too happy with the USA Network because they cancelled
another show that I really liked called La Femme Nikita.
But at least this time I was forewarned.
But what surprised me is that a person (I think it's
Larry Hertzog) was connected to both shows. No wonder I
liked both of them. They were both high quality shows.

Thx for all the nice comments on my list, I'm flattered :^)
And for the membershipthing:
-Did you fill in your profile properly?
-Did you put it in as private or public?
Just to be sure, I'll check if I got a message saying that the both of you
joint.
I'll let you know something.
Cheers,
Kristien
Why don't I live in the US, Why don't I live in the US (hitting head against
the wall). I really wish I could join in the fun, but it's kinda far if you
have to come all the way from Belgium...
But, I'll be there in spirit :^)
Cheers,
Kristien

first of all, big welcome to the list, and second, if you want, I can copy that first episode for you, but then it will be in English with Dutch subtitles. Hey, but then you know how Tom really sounds :^)
I'm also new here. First of all let me introduce myself: my name is Kerstin and I live in Bavaria, that's in Southern Germany. I've been a fan of Nowhere Man for about 3 years now but I gotta admit I never saw the very first episodes. Unfortunately they don't seem to put Nowhere Man back in the programme and so I have to get along with the episodes I've seen.
> I'm closing in on 7000 visits, so, that should help > get the news out. Visitors are still abound, coming > in from Hungary, Spain, Ireland and O'course the US... >
I even have visits coming from Taiwan, Thailand and Japan. I don't know if NwM is out there but hey, the more the merrier.
I have close to 4,500 hits on my site with average of 80 hits a day. Wednesdays and Saturdays seems to be the busiest days week after week. Odd. Those are the same nights of the New York State lottery. Maybe that's when *they* are most active. After all - the lottery is ridged anyway with all these cloned politicians in office. It the only thing I can think of.

If you're looking for links, you can go to my WebRing here:
http://www.webring.org/cgi-bin/webring?ring=nwmring&list
Just browse through the links and picks some out. They're all good.

your guess is as good as mine...I'm still figuring this egroup thing
out...my screen still shows I'm not approved for membership (one must
say that
Kristien is showing excellent taste already), which (just guessing
here) allows me to post but not see a membership list
I'm from New York. And I think you haven't felt a fulfillment of life until you've seen the first episode.
It's sad but it's true... *weeping* I tried to download the first episode somewhere in the internet but I had no luck with it. My weak connection got in real trouble I tell you. *g*
The episode is simply to big and I can't download it fully before it moves again as it seems.
> do you have

David Powers! I still like that log in name!
First I have a question . Why is it that you were able to send a message to
this list but I don't see your name "david powers" <mencken@...> listed
as a member here: http://www.egroups.com/members/NowhereMan? Can a person
do that or am I just going crazy?

neowhere
greetings, everyone!
gotta say that I like the way this egroup thing is set up, at least
so far.
kristen's list of links is pretty impressive.
of the people I know, neowhere and NowhereMan 97 (aka Tal) are

any
others to suggest be added to this list, neowhere?

Hi. For about a year, I have been on another Nowhere Man list along with
"neowhere" who also recently joined this list. Some of us on that list have
been planning a Nowhere Man fan gathering in Portland, Oregon, USA, where
most of the show was filmed. We are going to stay in the hotel used in the
"Doppelganger" epsode (the one with Tom's look-alike). The event is
scheduled for August 25, 26 and 27. If anyone on this list is the least bit
interested, and thinks they can make it there, please email me and I will
give you all the answers you are looking for ;-)

Hello everyone,
I just updated the links-page on the group-page. Go check it out(

missing. Gi'me a scream and I'll put him right on there.
Cheers,
