Also worth noting, Maria Bello was in a great episode of NWM where she and Bruce start a relationship and hes thinking about staying until she gets his phone message and dumps his duffel by the side of the road and drives off, effectively dumping him, knowing he'd probably dump her and leave anyway

As I was cleaning out my old emails from my folders, i came across this message to the group from years ago. I recently saw this movie, A History of Violence. It is very good, I would recommend it. Kind of slow for the first 20 minutes, but it picks ups. Its funny how Maria Bello is married to a dude named Tom, and then how it becomes quesionable whether is really is Tom afterall...

Has anyone else seen it in these past few years?

Best Regards,
Miguel

Did anyone notice that Maria Bello (aka Emily from The Enemy Within)
is starring in a movie as the wife of a man named Tom in an idyllic
little town, when suddenly questions are raised as to whether Tom is
really Tom, or if he used to be someone by another name, who was very
different (and violent)?

The movie is A History of Violence. I haven't seen it, and haven't
heard from any sources I trust as to whether it is good or not, but
the comparisons to NwM are striking. Coincidence?

Anyone seen it?

-Carl

I did see it, years ago. I thought it was quite good, also.
