I have seen Norah before on CNBC and am impressed with not just how
smart she is but also very beautiful. Let me know if anyone knows
when and where she will be in Chicago area, love to meet her.
What about some caps? :)
I must be missing some shows she's on. I only usually get a peek at
her when she's on one of those Sunday morning talk shows.

I don't know about you guys but Norah is looking really really
really cute (or hot or pretty, whatever you want to use, but I am
thinking cute) out in crawford this week. The way her hair is pulled
back with the wind wipping it. The other day she was wearing a ball
cap. That made her really cute.

Tell us more about her activities in High School. Was she involved
in Journalism Club, sports, arts as this should be in your yearbook.
Did she have any comments that appear in her personal section in the
yearbook about what her goals and objectives were after high school.
Surely you can add something more to us admirers of Norah.

Hehe...I have been watching Norah O'Donell's reporting for several
years now. Her face and name sure seemed familiar to me, she
reminded me of someone in High school. I was watching a report from
her on MSNBC and finally decided to investigate. I went to Google
and entered Norah O Donnel and Macarthur High School and it brought
me to this forum. And for sure...there it is....she went to Mac. I
was classmate of her in Advanced Algebra (either that or Calculus)
class. I remember she was a very focused person and had
a "professional" air around her. Its not surprising to me that she
has been as successful as she is. And yes I did talk to her a few
times and she was very nice.
Happy to see a fellow Mac H.S. graduate become such a success.

Since someone in this group had a picture of Norah in college her
senior year at Georgetown I was wondering do you happen to have the
picture of her husband Geoff Tracy whom she met there kind of curious
as to who he is?

I fully agree with everything you say about the modern feminist
movement. All of this is unfortunately very true of so many American
women. Their drive for equal rights with men is very understandable,
yet when they try to show that they are equal by simply emulating
men, they lose most or all of their attractiveness. Fortunately,
many women begin to understand this once they enter into
relationships with men and see what it is that male partners value in
them. Those who fail to understand this end up being lesbians.
Is all of this true about Norah? - I hope that what we see on TV is
only a professional mask that she is wearing at work. Only those who
have been lucky to enter into a relationship with her can say whether
or not this is true.
BTW, there was a model who was very much like Norah both on a
physical and on a personal levels. Her name is Paulina Porizkova.
For Americans she is probably best known as having been the leading
model for Estee Lauder in the early 1990s. She married one of the
ugliest men alive - Ric Ocasek from The Cars. People who knew the
couple were calling them "Beauty and the Beast."
Most men who have seen Norah are probably dreaming about entering
into a relationship with her. I wonder what kind of the "Beast" she
will ultimately end up with.
Norah is a regular on CNBC Capital report when something is happening
in Congress like when you saw her this week because of the Medicare
Drug Plan the House and Senate where passing because she is the
Congressional correspondent for NBC News now. Also, just to and I
recently saw Norah and is the the most beauiful when you see her face
to face she is just striking!
As I said, it was the first time I have seen Norah and I have been
watching Capital Report more or less regularly. That doesn't make
her reqular over there.
I also want to apologize for my mistake which you have probably
noticed: Capital Report is on CNBC, not on MSNBC.
Yes,
Norah is one of the most beautiful women you'll ever see, anywhere. Her face is
so beautiful and beautifully sculpted and proportioned it is very hard to take
your eyes off her; to the point you don't recall what she is saying. It is an
almost hypnotic kind of beauty. Very, very striking.
What holds her back, in my opinion, is that she comes across very buttoned
up....one might say, up tight and all business. Someone with a more relaxed
personality and simlar beauty is Patty Ann Brown, and that relaxation comes out
even when she is just reading news and not presenting analysis. Jane Skinner is
also very beautiful, and both of these women seem less "under pressure" and a
bit more personal and friendly in their presentation and delivery.
If Norah could reduce the tension in her presentation and make the flow of
information she is offering seem less hurried it would make a great difference
in the reaction of audiences and would really boost her carreer.
It seems that Norah exudes the kind of vibes that make you feel she is now "on"
and has to produce, so there is an impersonal feeling of tension rather than the
kind of personable, relaxed communication that is more compelling to audiences.
I wonder who Norah has taken as a model regarding broadcasters? I'm sure that if
she picked the right model and worked towards what she would be so compelling to
her audiences that she would eventually command her own programs.
If all else failed she could go to hollywood and become a movie star...her
beauty warrants that, for sure. But I get the sense from Norah that she has a
social conscience, albeit misguided by the poison of liberalism. This, of
course, makes a whole battery of miseducated people who justify doing very bad
things for what seems to them good reasons; like justifying the liberal abortion
agenda and sexual relativism, just to give two examples. As an aside, it's a
fact that the "educated" Nazis in the concentrations camps were more willing to
perform atrocities with less scruppling than their less educated peers.
Intellectual relativism renders the will unprotected from perverse choices and
acts. Things ain't changed much; only the undereducated in America (and properly
formed Catholics of all educational levels) are not eaten up with relativism.
Only they hedge on the slaughter of the innocent. Only they protest. Only they
say the ends do no justify the means.
Getting back to Norah, if she wants to get beyond just "reporting the news" and
editorializing like a Bill O'Reilly, she needs to unbutton a little and show
more of her personality....more of her feminity...if there's any left in her
psyche after the years of the politically correct propaganda she was no doubt
subjected to at Georgetown.
G.K. Chesterton said that modern feminism is simply the male perspective, assumed
by women. In other words, there is nothing feminine about it. Women who embrace
it are in a state of metaphysical "drag". You don't compete with men trying to
act like men. You will fail. Women compete successfully with men when they
emphasize their womaness. There is nothing more repelling than modern feminism.
There is nothing more compelling than real femininity; just ask any child.
Therein lies authentic success for the Norah's of the world. It will show them
to be compellingly beautiful persons, not just beautiful faces reading a
promoter.

I haven't seen Norah O in months. Has she been gone? Is she back?
When is she usually on? And last question, is she a regular on
Capital Report? I havent ever seen this show.

I agree with that
