and have to tell you that it was an honor and pleasure to meet her
in person!

Nadia is a sweetheart that took the time to see everyone that came
to her Official Tour Send Off Party!

The party took place at a phenominal residence in South Miami-Dade
County...  there was food, drinks, dancing, cameras, reporters, and
of course - NADIA!

Nadia made her entrance and immediately began "yapping" (her own
words) to everyone who came.  Instead of running off to the food and
drinks, she went right into meeting and greeting people.  There were
pictures, autographs, interviews, and awards presented from
government officials.  In fact, Miami-Dade County has proclaimed
June 17, 2005 as "Nadia Turner Day!"

Then, after everything calmed down (for about 2 minutes), three of
us were honored to be asked inside the residence to meet Nadia in
person!  We told her how much we loved her, introduced ourselves,
and posed for pictures before going back out to the party.

Throughout the night, I snapped tons of pictures and have taken the

Nadia will be busy touring with AI this summer. After
the tour, she will no doubt be looking at several
recording offers already awaiting her. Once
signed, I would expect an album to be released
sometime during 2006.

msgs & chats with her fans, download her music and

Simon said good things about Nadia in the beginning,

I just wanted to say that I think Nadia was robbed!  I was in total
shock by Simon's obvious attempts to have her eliminated from the show -
"You should be sent home for your song choice!" ????????? 

Nadia has such a gorgeous voice, is musical and gorgeous I have no idea
what Simon had against her.  She was one of my favorite female
contestants from the beginning.

I was wondering if anyone can tell me where I might download her
version of "Power of Love."  I would really appreciate it.  E-mail me

a new CD released by 19 Recordings/RCA Records on Tuesday, May 17.
The album features individual performances by the top 12 finalists on

3) "Best of My Love," Vonzell Solomon.  The 21-year-old postal carrier
from Ft. Myers, FL, sang this Emotions smash the night the contestants
selected songs from "The Billboard Book of Number One Hits."

4) "Every Time You Go Away," Anthony Fedorov.  Born in the Ukraine,
the 19- year-old from Trevose, PA sang this Daryl Hall & John Oates
original the night the contestants chose songs from their birth year,
while Hall & Oates were in the audience.

5) "You Don't Have To Say You Love Me," Nadia Turner.  The theme was
the 1960's the night this 28-year-old from Miami, FL sang Dusty
Springfield's classic hit.

6) "My Funny Valentine," Constantine Maroulis.  The 29-year-old from
New York, NY turned into a crooner when he performed this Rodgers &
Hart classic on Broadway night.

7) "Total Eclipse Of The Heart," Jessica Sierra.  The 19-year-old from
Tampa, FL chose Bonnie Tyler's biggest hit the night the contestants
sang Billboard's No. 1 hits.

8) "Against All Odds (Take A Look At Me Now)," Scott Savol.  The
28-year-old from Shaker Heights, OH, turned to the Phil Collins
songbook on Billboard's No. 1 hits night.

9) "Part Time Lover," Nikko Smith.  The 22-year-old from Town and
Country, MO picked one of Stevie Wonder's No. 1 songs on a night when

12) "God Bless The Child," Mikalah Gordon.  The youngest contestant at
17, this Las Vegas-born singer made a surprising choice with the
Billie Holiday classic while performing with the girls before making
it into the top 12.

13) "When You Tell Me That You Love Me," American Idol Season 4
Finalists.  A No. 2 hit for Diana Ross in the UK, "When You Tell Me
That You Love Me" was chosen by viewers in an Internet poll as the
charity single to be recorded by the top 12 finalists.  Released as a
commercial single, "When You Tell Me That You Love Me" moved to No. 1
on Billboard's Hot 100 Singles Sales chart for the week ending May 7,
2005.

"American Idol Season 4: The Showstoppers" is the fourth CD to be
released by the top finalists from season 4 of "American Idol."  The
first three "American Idol" collections have sold over 2 million

How on earth do you think that the show is rigged?? That idea is just so stupid. I am sorry, but it obviously isn't rigged, which is why we, American public, call in and vote. Then, the one with the lowest votes goes home.  The judges just critique the voices and song choices. It's not like as soon as we call, they add votes to some other contestant that they want! I think you're just upset because Carrie really was the best, but you don't want her to win, so you just assume that the show is rigged.  Things aren't always going to go your way!

IMO, Anthony was a lot better then Vonzell and Carrie.  Vonzell let her game
down last night.  I voted for the two that I thought had the best
performances last night, the other two didn't get my votes.

Forever  Mother of the following:
Joey ( year old male yellow lab/golden mix rescue who had to be put into
foster on 4/8/05 due to personality conflict with others; I will always love
you Joey and I miss you so much)
Rusty (Male 5 year old Golden ) ,     Browse ( 3 year old Female Dobie mix
rescue), Apollo (Male 9 month old Rottie rescue), Buddy( Male 6 year old
rescued terrier mix  but got loose and ran away, hoping for safe return)
several cats (mostly rescues) and 2 fancy male rats.
Angels  Bruno (  Male Rottie) , Sheba ( Female Rottie) and many others; gone
to the bridge  but never forgotten
