Mike_Gambit members,
Thank you for joining this group of Avengers fans. This group is one
of many that use Yahoo as a forum for our group. I wish to address a
problem we have come across in the short time having been here.
Yahoo requires that you 'keep you mailbox clean.' What I mean by
that is to use an example of our regular US Mail service, if you let
your mail collect and sit in your mailbox, once its full, no more
mail can be received. It's the same with email. (BTW, you don't have
to use Yahoo Mail for this to also apply.) If an email or a message
post sits or gathers in your email (box) there is no more room, and
all emails thereafter are considered 'bouncing.' After you
have 'bounced', Yahoo temporarily removes the member from the Yahoo
group. THIS IS NOT A POLICY OR ACTION OF Mike_Gambit. This is done
the same in every Yahoo group. Until the bounce message is resolved,
(stopped bouncing) no future emails can be delivered.

We have in the group a means to send reactivation to members who
have bounced. But unless the bounced message is resolved, chances
are you won't be able to receive the reactivation notices in your
emails. There is still a lot of 'gray' area I don't understand about
this Yahoo policy, but I know that once you have been bounced unless
you can resolve the message that caused the bounce, there is very
little that I or the moderators can do. I have made it a policy to
send up to 10 reactivation notices from the group if you should
become a bouncing member. After that, I may need to remove the
members from the group. Understand, I do not wish to lose any
members for any reason. You can adjust your email settings in the
group. If you know you will i.e. be on a vacation, you can adjust
your settings from individual email to special notices or daily
digest. You can also select no emails and check the posts on the
group later.

Just some suggestions to make life easier.

Cal
