Re: [Michael_Ellis] Censorship

I couldn't have said it any better Stephanie. I too am just a poor Okie, and so proud of it!
You can find men out there that are as good as Michael but you'd have a rough time of finding one that's better.

We do however set a high standard to those who are members. We don't personally attack anyone. We do not allow others to make personal attacks either. We do allow freedom of speech. That is why your post made it through.

You know, by calling someone 'A poor little country boy from Oklahoma' your making a statement about yourself. Your pretty much saying that you think your better than them. I don't see where anyone in this world is better than anyone else. We're all made of flesh and blood we all live with the knowledge that air goes in and out, blood goes round and round any variation is not so good. Money doesn't make a person better than someone else. It's what inside a persons heart that really matters.

So, to quote you, 'A poor little country boy from Oklahoma probably couldn't handle knowing what people really think of him.' That statement shows absolutely no class what so ever. It proves that no matter what you do in life, there is always someone there to put you down.

We are not standing behind a man that lied and cheated his way to get somewhere in life, but told the truth and stood by his word.

We are happy to know that in this world, there are people that like that still around. We are happy that people can actually be who they are and succeed at something.

Too many people in this world are afraid to be who they are because again, no matter what they do, there is always someone there to tell them they aren't good enough, they didn't do it right, or flat out bully them.

My favorite saying is, who in this world is normal, and why do we strive to be like them. The truth is, there is nobody normal. There is nobody in this world that will classify and being a normal human being.

Socially acceptable is the term that needs to be said instead of normal. The way Michael is, well, around here is socially acceptable. Who gives a darn how it is elsewhere? Personally, I don't because I don't live elsewhere. I live in an area where it's quite ok to talk to strangers, you can let your children roam around and explore without the fear of them being kidnapped. Where you can go to the store a mile away and come home an hour later and learned the latest gossip. You don't worry about what others think of you in the least because you know in your heart your not living for them, your living for yourself, your family.

So, I guess you can say, I'm a poor country girl from Oklahoma, but I am proud of that. I'm proud to say I'm from Oklahoma and it doesn't bother me in the least that we don't have things of monetary value. I have the love of my family and friends. I have the morning kisses of my two little boys. The way my baby yells horsie when he sees cows. The way my oldest son has to tell the dog he loves her before we go anywhere. Those are things that money can't buy. Those are joys in life that others may not ever realize. You can never call anyone poor in this world because we are all rich in our ways. It may not be the 'normal' way to be rich, such as being monetarily rich, but it's rich none the less.

I am not at all surprised that the moderators of this site find it
neccessary to censor posts.   I am sure you must have to do it quite
often!  A poor little country boy from Oklahoma probably couldn't
handle knowing what people really think of him.  At least the
majority of the free world.
