"McGarrett" is an egroup devoted to the character Jack Lord made famous. Members are invited to discuss all aspects about the man and his famous character.

Open and honest discussions are always welcomed, but insults towards other members abuse will NOT be tolerated. If you can't behave like an adult you will be asked to leave.

Anyone who sends any type of SPAM will be automatically removed with no warning given. SPAM IS NOT ALLOWED AT ALL.

Naturally, no "male or woman-bashing". It's just not cool so please don't do it.

Unlike another group with a similar name, members who choose not participate can do so. Lurkers are always wilcomed because they might choose someday to post something we might like to read.

This listowner does not claim, unlike the other listowner, to know everything there is about Jack Lord or Hawaii Five-0.

If you have any Hawaii Five-0 fanfiction you'd like to post, you can do so here - I won't fuss and fume about a story going up here and most of us don't care if you don't cross every 'i' or dot every 't' in your story. The majority of the fanfiction writers on the web just like to write with no intentions of publishing their stories, unlike the other listowner who thinks nothing should be 'published on the web' unless it's absolutely 'perfect'.

PLEASE NOTE: Given recent difficulties that a former acquaintance created towards this listowner and other members in another group and who turned out to be extremely malicious and untruthful, ANY complaints against another member will have their membership polled by group members and the consensus of their censure will determine what happens to their membership in this group.
