i am going to go to no mail for awhile  - i haven't been active on any
group lately.

i lost my joy after my mother died - so getting my relationship w God
active needs to be a priority i know God is the only true source of
regaining peace thru illness or whatever we face- even w FMS and down
days, weeks even months of suffering

Woohoo! Daughtry's new album just came out a week ago, and it's soooo good! I'm sad that he's fourth runner up, but at least I have the CD. :) Jukebox was awesome enough to put up a player of the new songs! I found them here.

I'm not a feller to watch american idol. Infact I hate the show, but
everyone around me loves it, so I catch a glimpse of it. I only like
someone on the show if that person is different and special. She has
the best voice, tallent, and performance of all the contestants, and
she is the most beautiful. Being a Christian myself (although I'm not
anywhere near a good example of one, but I am getting better), I kind
of connected with her. Also, I like her curves. I always loved girls

I want Taylor to win because he is fun to watch & am thrilled that 4
years in a row the top 2 have been from metro Bham. I moved
here for Samford U.as a voice major 30 yrs ago. (Diana DeGarmo was
born here but moved near Atlanta where i grew up)

BUT... this area was overwhelmed with publicity about Bo's church
activity last year (it was not by Bo himself but by our local media,
even local Christian radio) while knowing all along his
girlfriend was pregnant (my son knows & is going to Europe with her
next door neighbor fefore they moved to Nashville) and of his prior
legal/drug troubles. I have never heard him say he is a Christian so
the image pushed localy is not his fault. I hoped he had truly found
God & changed his life. I have not been pleased by some bleeped
language in his interviews & talk about getting together for a beer
etc. I do not expect Christians to be perfect but hope those
claiming to be & in the spotlight will set a good example.

NOW TO MY POINT....  fans who loved Mandisa's talent, her soul  AND
being a Christian - may be greatly dissapointed in Taylor's
background. Some is on other websites - playing clubs locally &
proud of playing at the Playboy Mansion. I know neighbors of his
family who's sons were involved with him & his brother. I'll just
say I hope they do drug testing for the show. At least NOTHING
has been mentioned of him being involved with a church.

if you search on Lifeway.com ther is good info on Idols who have
been good examples. kids are at risk for so much and NEED excellent
role models for Idols. Though it doesnt cater to kids AI is supposed
to be a family show (except the auditions which were blocked by out
parent control)

I stopped voting after Mandisa left though I liked Elliot's voice &
personality.

his name as producer.

  Mandisa would have been an awesome person for the
next american idol and i voted for her many times a
night until she got voted off which was very
disappointing.  But Katherine has every right as well
as Taylor to be the next american idol. It is all in

I believe that if it is a conflict of interest, the let the producers take care of that.  I like Kat and Taylor, even though I preferred Elliot over the two of them.  I'll vote for whoever does the best next week.  I think it's sad when people spread questionable information.  Why is it all about trying to stop one person from succeeding at their goal as opposed to helping someone succeed.  I wish them both the best, and I still can't wait to hear from Mandisa.

      Guys, im writng to you on behalf of the soul patrol. We are
going to need every one of your help to take down a certain feline.
We know her father Daniel Mcphee is a television producer and has
produced alot of hit fox sitcoms. We also know her mother resorts to
cheating by directly breaking idol contract and goes into kats boards
and starts a email relationship the McArmy. We needy ou guys in a
large way. Taylor Hicks is alot like Mandisa in a way. Like Mandisa,
Taylors got spunk, charisma, charm, class, dignity and of corse
oozing with soul from his head to his toes:). However, what the
McArmy is trying to tell you is that these qualities do not matter
anymore and they do. An american idol is spose to be real and genuine
not a fake and a fraud. All you have to do is look at taylors video
to see that he is just so humble and amasing. Taylor Hicks deserves
to be the next american idol because he exzemplifies what an american
idol should be, an insperation to all. So please...on tuesday night
when you turn on your tv....consider this....for your next american
idol do you want Class or Trash. So lets all say it together
now..SOUL PATROL, SOUL PATROL SOUL PATROL and we will win:)

How do you know her dad is a producer and isn’t that a conflict of interest?  I mean, I want Taylor to win – well, I WANT Mandisa to win, but I won’t be getting that!!

What city to go see the tour in?  I go in St. Louis and you can't do
this.

Hey! which tour city/cites is everyone here going to!?!????!?!?

Hey has anyone here met Mandisa in person or talked to her? If so what
was she like what did she say? I just think she is so cool and is
defintly talented!!!!

It will be so cool to finally see Mandisa back on the stage at the
finals -- even though she won't be the "American Idol", it will be
good to see her sparkling personality and abounding talent on that
stage again.  And I can't WAIT to see all that God has in store for
her!  We love you girl!
