Hello everyone.

I was a member of the online forun of Sci-Fi's Mad Mad House, known as
ChakraDave. Recently I joined this and other groups that have
expressed interest in a second season of the show. I haven't been to
the web boards for Mad Mad House in some time, but from what I gather,
there were casting calls for season 2, with new Alts. However, I was
embroiled indirectly with a situation that may have led to part of
season 2's downfall.

Now don't go booing me, let me explain! One person I met on the board
was Zikia Shiru, a self proclaimed Necromancer. No, not someone who
has sex with corpses, that's a necrophiliac. In his words, he communed
with spirits, astrally projected, and delved into psychic and magic
realms involving the departed. He was also tapped to be an Alt on
season 2.

However, trouble was brewing between Zikia and two other friends of
mine on the board(who I became more connected with after the debacle),
whom Zikia threatened with personal, physical harm not only on
Sci-Fi's board, but on other fan boards as well. And what was worse,
suddenly Zikia accused me of being an alias for one of the people he
threatened, just because our Yahoo profile pics at the time resembled
one another at first glance! Needless to say, I did my best to profess
I was not the other person, but there was a lot of gossip and
conspiracies thrown around by those who simply wanted to stir things
up, just because they could. I also had to deal with another young
stalker from the show's boards who, in her own words, believed that
she and Saddam Hussein had a spiritual connection, and had some
serious psychological problems and self-esteem issues. I think due to
this circumstance of an Alt threatening members of the online board,
plus diappointing ratings despite a loyal fanbase and questions as to
how anyone can win a reality show based on spiritual growth, the
second season was cancelled.

Of course, I could be wrong. Here is a post from the board as of July

I have done some research into the possibility of there being another
season of MMH and it is possible that the second season is supposed to
be next March. Of course, getting any information from anyone
affiliated with the show is next to impossible due to gag orders which
do not allow discussion of the issue. My suggestion would be to check
out some of the message boards that are off-shoots , but unfortunately
what you find there may not be accurate. That's all for now and as
soon as I find out further info I will post it for you. Keep hope
alive my dear child it could happen.

With March approaching, anything is possible. But if I'm right, then
we may be better off giving our fandom and attention to Ghost Hunters.
By the way, my friend whom Zikia threatened has been chatting a bit
and exchanging ideas with Jason and Grant from The Atlantic Paranormal
Society. Guess you can't keep a good paranormal fan and explorer down. :-)
