Ray:
Interesting collection of cars! How's the 914 performing for ya? My uncle had
one, and I recall it gave him fits.
My wife has always wanted an Alfa Romeo Spider (seen in THE GRADUATE and NO WAY
OUT), so in '92 (the last year of production of the Spider Veloce), we got her
one, knowing fully well the bad reputation they had. Well, we've had it 17
years now, with about 50k miles on it. It's had its little issues, but all in
all, has never given us half the trouble we expected. Routine maintenance (and
it needs lots of it) is the key. Still has the original red paint job, and
people often say it still looks new.
Do you still have a turntable to play those old records? I know most audiofiles
prefer them to CDs. I remember the Jackson 5 Christmas Album! Hmmnn...wonder
if they have it on CD...

was a nice car.

restored '61 Morris Minor collecting dust in his basement, so I picked that up
for $500. That started a long string of British cars, until I got tired od
breaking down all over the place!

Peaks. A lot of young singles lived in the area, and they often threw away their
"old" music, 45's, 8-tracks, etc. I still have a lot of those old Motown
records, as well as the J5 Christmas album!

It was a terrific car! Never had any issues with it, unlike my Chevys. I had
it for about 7 years.

license. Nice car, comfy as could be, but I must have looked ridiculous driving
it, as I was all of 24 yrs. old. Having to make payments on it forced me to
work hard for sales, LOL.
