Re: Age of Aquarius

Derek-

My firsy car was a '56 Chevy 4-door hardtop that I paid $60 for out in the
Sunset. Sure wish I'd kept that one. Then I bought a '67 Malibu for $350. That
was a nice car.

When I went off to college (Berkeley) I was at a friend's party and he had a
restored '61 Morris Minor collecting dust in his basement, so I picked that up
for $500. That started a long string of British cars, until I got tired od
breaking down all over the place!

I've now upgraded to a 1976 914.

Your post about music reminded me of my days living in apartments on Twin Peaks.
A lot of young singles lived in the area, and they often threw away their "old"
music, 45's, 8-tracks, etc. I still have a lot of those old Motown records, as
well as the J5 Christmas album!

Ray

It was a terrific car! Never had any issues with it, unlike my Chevys. I had
it for about 7 years.

Nice car, comfy as could be, but I must have looked ridiculous driving it, as I
was all of 24 yrs. old. Having to make payments on it forced me to work hard
for sales, LOL.
