I’ve just been watching an old episode of CSI. And it’s just dawned on me how much like MacGyver this show is. Especially the character of Gill Grisom. He’s very similar to MacGyver in the way he thinks things out and seems to know something about everything.

I think he’s even more like Mac in his personality, they way he’s always calm and methodical, and accepting of everything and everyone.

The real spinner tonight was that the episode had Bruce McGill in it.

The only thing I can find on the net about him was an obituarie from Columbia College

I've just realised that RDA's birthday is the day before Michael Des Barres.

And they are only 2 years appart in age, with Michael being 2 years older than RDA.

Which character(s) would you have liked to see more or less of?

These can be good and/or bad characters

I personally would have like to have seen more of Deborah "the
negotiator". I think she had real potential to get right under Macs
skin and catch him of guard.

I have set up some photo albums and populated them with a few images.

Feel free to upload some of your own to share with the group.

The files area is now open and currently has some sound files in it.
I've got the cables I need to hook up my video to the PC so I can
capture sounds myself.

So let me know if there are any specific sounds you want. And of
coarse you are most welcome to upload any files of your own to share
with the group.

My absolute favorite is the Jeep! I'm a Jeep maniac, actually I'm a

Welcome to MacGyver online,

This is my first step in creating an online community worthy of  the
name MacGyver.

I know there are other groups dedicated to MacGyver both in Yahoo and
other sites, I have no intention of taking away the good work these
other groups and sites are doing. I want to aid them and hopefully be
the glue that bond us all together.

I have big plans for an online community dedicated to MacGyver. I
choose Yahoo as a starting place to lay the foundation blocks for my
plans.

I coming weeks I will be contacting site owners to discuss ways we
can build and improve on the community which already exists in
cyberspace.

I would love to hear your comments and ideas on anything you think
might improve this community.
