Acting as though he hadn't seen her, he walked over to the weapon
wall, and grabbed three knives. juggling them carefully, he acted like
he was lookng for her in all of the shadowed places in the room. Jenya
watched Christians every move, she was sure what he was up to, "What
is he doing?" Jenya wondered.

With a sudden jolt he threw all of the knives straight toward her
hiding place.  Jenya saw the knives, but couldn't think of anything in
time. She suddenly lost her balance & fell. "WHOA!!!!!!" she yelled.

"Cheater!" He yelled into the shadows, and then morphed his eyes into
owl eyes. He looked all around the room. "Ah. There we go." he said
quietly, gazing swiftly up into the beams in the ceiling. Acting as

feet would catch Jenya's form, and grabbed a double sided axe from the
opposite wall, and threw it end over end at Jenya.  Jenya did another
back flip to dodge the axe, she landed on her hands & knees & looked
up at Christian, "Nice move, but you gotta try harder than that" she
said. She jumped up in the air & hid in the shadows, waiting for the
right moment to get Christian.

Clamouring of the ground, Christian placed a foot on the wall, spun
around, and swung out his other leg in a flying fan kick, aimed for
Jenya, who easily dodged. Landing gracefully, Christian did a quick
back-spring, hoping that his feet would catch Jenya's form, and grabbed
a double sided axe from the opposite wall, and threw it end over end at
Jenya.

Jenya flew into the air, almost hitting the floor, but caught herself
& went right into a back flip. She caught her breath & looked at
Christian, she grabbed a fighting stick off the wall & started
swinging it around, she ran towards him & flipping him under his
feet.

Christian felt the blow solidly as it hit. It was a well thrown,
expertly aimed kick. In counter, he swung the heel of his palm up,
catching Jenya square in the chin lifting her off the ground.

Christian grinned a bit. He knew that Jen was trying to show off her
body, but he couldn't make himself think of her like that. Instead,
he matched her step for step, removing his sweat covered muscle
shirt, and moved his jeans a little lower on his hips, so that he'd
be able to move better.

Forgetting to turn the speakers down, the sound of Jenya's voice
caught him off guard, and he turned to face the small camera in the
ceiling. Losing his concentration, a jet of hot stream shhot out from
the wall slightly burning his arm. He yelled in pain, and puned it
with a ist he had formed into hot steel. The jet melted instantly,
and in a flash became a usless glob of hot liquid metal.

"Traing program, disengage" Christian said aloud to the main computer
in the room. 'Ah....Voice activation, how i love you' Christian
thought to himself.

"Well," he said, looking back into the camera, "I was, but I guess
I'm done." He smiled at it, knowing that she would smile back. "Hey,

team lived. Each member of the team was doing there own thing. Jenya,
one of the only female elementals in the group, was listening to her
MP3 player & jogging around the place, getting a little excercise.
Jenya was a Elemental Thermal. She had the power to raise & lower her
body temperature & even shoot it out of her hands. She was very close
to her teammates, she even had a crush on fellow elemental mutant
Brennan Mulwray Jr. & molecular mutant Christian Kilmartin. She
continued to run a couple more times around before she stopped to get
some water.  Jenya got to the kitchen & took out a bottle of water,
she took some water into her mouth, it felt so good going down her
throat, cold & refreshing. She went back outside & sat on the steps.
She noticed that the lights were flickering inside, behind the steel
doors. She went to the training console's computer to see who was in
there. Jenya took a look & saw it was Christian in there, she smiled &
just sat & watched him on the screen. "Hey Christian....I see your
working hard" she said into the speakers.

Christian Kilmarten sat in front of the training  console's computer,
setting it's level to be as dangerous as possible. After the level
reached it's peak, he opened the steel door, stepped inside, and
waited for it to close again.

As soon as it closed behind him, the lights inside began to flicker,
faster and faster until they began to act almost light a strobe. His
eyes were not unfocused. His adreneline began to rise.

A gunshot!

He flattened out on the ground, stretching his flexibility to it's
maximum, without warming his muscles. The floor began to heat almost
as soon as he hit it. He launched his body straight up into the air.
As soon as he hit the highest point of his jump, Christian changed
the wieght of his body slightly, rolling backward in the air.

The landing was graceful and short. He landed quickly on both feet,
and leaped up yet again.

A rush of wind....

This was his least favourite part.

The air loss program.

Christian filled his lungs to capacity, just as the last of the air
was sucked out of the room.

The training continued......
