The deadline for Magnificent Shorts #2 is July 1, 2007.  I have two short stories that I would like to submit.  Is there any chance of getting constructive criticism before the 'zine's deadline?

 

One story is 5 pages long and focuses on Buck and his background.  The other is M7 LB OW (a sub-AU I don't know well) and is only half a page.  It's more of a joke than a story.  (To be perfectly honest, it's "borrowed" from an old, old Rick O'Shay cartoon.)

 

If your schedule permits you to beta-read in such a short time frame, I'd be grateful for the critique.
