Sorry if this is just BARELY on topic...OK maybe not at all...but I've got a
weird little TV on eBay right now and I wanted to tell some of you LIS techies
about it. If you do an eBay search on the phrase "Wild TV Lost in Space" it
should turn right up. I would just post a link, but I've noticed that for many
of you, the link seldom comes out right.
You really gotta take a look at this little guy, it breaks my heart to sell it!
It's just so cool-looking! Definitely would have been right at home on the set
of Star Wars, Star Trek, Silent Running, 2001. And of course, LIS. Picked it up
a few days ago. I've seen other weird looking TVs go for some big bucks, so
we'll see if I hit gold!
I guess the TV I'm selling seems on-topic because the damn thing just LOOKS like
a prop! Would be perfect for a film set in the late 60s or early-to-mid 70s. I'm
not trying to be a hard-nosed sales guy; I'm mentioning it mainly because I want
you all to get a look at the thing. Especially Smilin' Stan Brewer, the would-be
TV King!! The Victorian Cad!! The Steam-Driven Centurion!
OK...watch out...here comes the fast-talking salesman...if you do the Buy it Now
feature, and mention this LIS list, I'll ship for free and throw in a DVD of LIS
rarities that I compiled over the years. End of sales pitch.
