For those who might me interested in a bit of LD background, tonight's History Channel presents the story
of Charles Goodnight and Oliver Loving which was the basis for Larry McMurtry's novel, "Lonesome Dove." "Cowboys and Outlaws" is on at 9 pm PT, earlier in other time zones.  Theirs is a remarkable adventure,
and a must see for LD aficionados.  I've always thought "Goodnight Loving" would be a great title, although "Lonesome Dove" is pretty poetic, and especially meaningful to those with a propensity for melancholy.
Works for me.  ~ T.

We care -- really -- just not for the fluffy, lightweight sitcom routine.  "Old Christine" has to be the worst in that category, and I don't know why EM chose to be part of such a painfully superficial production.

I'm much more interested to see what he does in the role of the German con artist/kidnapper, Christian Klaus Gerhartsreiter, AKA "Clark Rockefeller."  There's a story with some interesting possibilities if it's presented as the drama that is was, and not redesigned as another infernal comedy of errors.

Anyway, thanks for the heads up, Debbie.  ~ T.
